Hi Brian, big fan of the show and I love the idea of In Fact.

Being such a huge fan and having a professional background I thought I could lend some advice. I noticed on the video that there was a very heavy shadow behind you. I do not know if this was intentional or not but I have included a diagram to show how to eliminate this and also provide a more dramatic lighting setup.

Another thing I thought could use some tweaking was your position. Normally you don't shoot that much of the body of the subject unless they are going to be interacting with with a background graphic (i.e. the weather man). A better shot would be to have you position more towards the right and have the bottom of the shot end on the 3rd button of a dress shirt. The other option would be to have a full body shot (see mac vs. pc commercials.)

Link to lighting diagram. (its from a 3d rendering, but its a good visual)

Also, maybe it's just me, but I felt the background moved a bit too fast. It gave the impression it was Dunning moving, not the background.

Oh, and thanks for the diagram. I don't do filming, but it was interesting nonetheless.

Skeptoid is one of the podcasts that I subscribe to and really enjoy. In its current format though, I don't see much additional value in the video InFact versus the regular audio podcast. The slides move too fast and are covered for the most part by Brian. For a good example of a host talking video for a podcast, check out GeekBrief.
