NJ governor Jim McGreevey will endorse him. For those who don't know much about our illustrious governor, perhaps these recent poll results will be helpful:
"Voters Rank Him 'One of the Worst Governors,' in New Jersey History By a 3:1 Margin, Say They are 'Embarrassed' by Him, and that It's Time to Give Someone New a Chance
WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- With all 120 state legislative seats up for grabs this Tuesday, a just-released survey of 501 registered voters in New Jersey finds widespread disillusionment with Governor McGreevey, even among Democrats.
Key survey findings include:
* 38% say McGreevey is "one of the worst governors New Jersey has had;"
13% say he's "one of the best."
* One-third (34%) are mostly embarrassed, and 27% are mostly proud that he
is governor
* 59% of New Jersey voters think it is time to give a "new person" a
chance to do Governor McGreevey's job, double the number (27%) who say
he "deserves re-election." Even among Democrats, McGreevey is favored
over a new person by just six points (43%-37%)
* A majority (54%) lean toward voting against McGreevey in 2005, including
30% who would oppose the governor "no matter who ran against him."
