28Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32Remember Lot's wife.
I am the end times "Lot" of this prophecy that describes the destruction of an last days Sodom and Gomorrah, San Francisco and LA.
On the day that I leave SF for Israel, God will destroy SF and LA with fire and brimstone from heaven.
That day is Yom Kippur, 2009.
Or Sept 28-29, 2009 some 4 weeks away.
That day will be the day that Atheism dies.
Sure the muslims will claim that their idol did it, but they do not have this prophecy found in Luke 17 to back that up.

You may want to read the rules for the Million Dollar Challenge.
What exactly do you mean by "destroyed with fire and brimstone from Heaven"? Are you referring to wildfires, a major earthquake, or do you believe that there will be actual fire and brimstone raining down and there will be no structures or people in the LA basin and San Francisco on 30 September, 2009?

Think you could put it off a couple of days? I have an appointment with my endocrinoligist on the 30th, and I already had to reschedule it once. She'll get mad and jab me with needles and stuff if I put it off again.
Anyway, Dani, are you any relation to Josh Freeman? He's a pretty good quarterback that used to play for K-State. Don't think he was Jewish, though. At least he didn't LOOK Jewish, being 6'6" and all.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messianic_Judaism
Like other Christians, its adherents believe that Jesus of Nazareth, whom they call Yeshua, is the resurrected Messiah and often the Divine Savior.[1][2][3] Messianic Judaism adds to this some observance of Jewish Law, which is not generally practiced (and often discouraged) in Christian churches.[4] These observances include observing Jewish Shabbat, abstaining from pork, shellfish, and other foods banned by Jewish law, and observing Jewish holidays. As of 2003, there were at least 150 Messianic synagogues in the U.S. and over 400 worldwide.[5] By 2008, the number of Messianics in the United States was around a quarter million.[6] The number of Messianic Jews in Israel is reported to be anywhere between 6,000 and 15,000 members, including the mainly Messianic Jewish village of Yad HaShmona, near Jerusalem.[7][8]
As for the rest of your post: I'm no mod, but I'd just suggest to tone down the personal attacks.

Oooh, it gets better. It'll be compliments of the Yellowstone Caldera!
http://www.lamblion.us/2009/02/divided-states-of-america.html
I am a Messianic Jew living in Sodom California (San Francisco) on the day that I leave for Israel, SF, LA, Las Vegas etc will be destroyed by the Yellowstone Caldera......and soon!
To the elect of the western US..Remember Lot's wife!
What is left of the USA will be absorbed into the North American Union.
With the US so weakened, all the world's hot spots will explode into war. Pakistan/India, North/South Korea, China/Taiwan, and esp Syria/Israel, leading to the destruction of Damascus and the Gog/Magog war.
From this time of war the Antichrist will arise preaching peace when there is no peace.
The whole world will divided into 10 economic zones, the 10 toes of Daniel's prophecy. The EU, The african Union, The north American Union, the Arab league of psalm 83 etc.
The Yellowstone Caldera will be the linchpin God will pull to set teh dominoes falling all the way to armegeddon.
Rend your hearts and be ready.
Repent or you will likewise perish!
And there's always this illuminating section....
Luk 17:37 And they answered and said to Him, "Where, Lord?" So He said to them, "Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together."
This verse is basically saying, "If the shoe fits, wear it".
San Francisco is the end times Sodom described in Luke 17.
There is much more to this story, but I'll just say, to bring this message, I've been beaten, arrested and jailed without charge or a lawyer, kicked and spat on, threatened and abused for the last 3 1/2 years.
I've even come face to face with Satan himself in 2005.
Please don't think I'm crazy, I am not.
This is the reason America is absent from end times prophecy.
The Yellowstone Caldera began to build up steam last Christmas and the judgment is determined.
Again, to God's elect in the weatern USA.
REMEMBER LOT'S WIFE!!
When the judgment is fulfilled, I will be in Jerusalem preaching the Gospel of Messiah Yeshua to the house of Israel.

If the Yellowstone Caldera blows, not only will Berkeley not be spared, neither will places as far away as Vancouver and Denver! That's, to use the technical geological term, one big muthabejumpin caldera there! In fact, knowing the after-effects that were documented from Krakatoa, I'd say Hokulele's not safe on Hawaii, nor would I be, here. That isn't the same thing as raining "fire and brimstone" on California, however. Pretty much the opposite effect, really.

Reincarnation, literally "to be made flesh again", is a doctrine or metaphysical belief that some essential part of a living being (in some variations only human beings) survives death to be reborn in a new body
wikipedia on reincarnation
The resurrection of dead humans is a central doctrine of Judaism and Christianity, and Islam. It may refer either to the resurrection of particular individuals, or a general resurrection of humanity.

(i can't post urls yet.)
Their messiah was resurrected as the same person.
Reincarnation is when a person dies, and this such person comes back as another living thing. Such as another person, plant or animal.

My first thought whenever I hear/read this sort of bullcrap is to laugh & think 'how could someone hold such idiotic beliefs?' and 'they must be a poe, or just writing for attention or for a few laughs' or 'how sad someone has to say such things just to get whatever they need in life - how lonely they must be?'.
However, over the years, I've have come to think that people who firmly hold such ideas as expressed in the OP aren't just to be pitied, or ignored, or laughed at - they must also be closely watched, as people who think this way are - by any definition of the word - insane.
As such, they are often also very, very dangerous to their fellow human beings, as when their stupid prophesy fails, they may seek to try to fulfill it in other ways (ie , setting fires, harming others, etc).
This isn't funny anymore -it's a sign of severe mental disability, damage, or disease. If there was any way I could report such people to medical personnel for examination - preserving their rights at the same time, I would do so. Can't happen - beside's the fact they can effectively hide behind the internet, in reality, as long as they've broken no laws, nothing can be done.
Also, I have strong reservations about punishing anyone just for the way they believe (strong meaning I am 110% against it - and willing to fight to prevent it) - yet...yet.
Yet I have far less problems with watching such people closely, to assure the rest of society they aren't going to harm others (or themselves) and that their fantasy's are simply that - fantasy.

I have no direct revelation as to how it may happen, the Yellowstone Caldera, (an omnipotent God cannot limit it? or send it where He will? Silly!) or maybe the dozen or so dormant volcanoes in Calif?
God can simply open up new ones along the San Andreas...anyway, it will not be "the big one" or not it alone, but literal flaming sulfur from the skies that destroys SF and LA.
2.) The scope of the destruction.
I'll just say this one thing, God is FURIOUS with this nation and Calif in particular. He would be justified in blowing the whole western US off the map and more, but I think it will be everything from SF to San Diego, maybe even Las Vegas and more. The "cities on the plain" as it were.
3) The results of this judgment.
One is that many will be saved by it, as it is written,
"When your judgments are in the earth, then the inhabitants will learn righteousness"
And-
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom".
Another is that it will give me great authority to preach the Gospel of Messiah Yeshua to the house of Israel which is job number one for me.
And another is simple justice.
The wicked cities of Calif are long overdue for judgment.
Hollywood esp has been the mecca of Satanic evangelism for decades.

So all this is going to happen at the end of September, eh? Well, this is a very specific prophecy which is certainly testable. If, as you predict, San Francisco and Los Angeles are destroyed by flaming sulfur from the skies on the 28-29 of September, 2009 then it would be hard to argue against your gift of prophecy. On the other hand, if October rolls around and the people of San Francisco and Los Angeles are still going about their business as always, it would be strong evidence that you are deeply delusional and, according to your own Bible, a false prophet.

I have 100% confidence, so I will not even consider the possibiltity that God lied to me, etc.

Well, it certainly would be amazing if you were to be corret, thankfully, it seems tremendously unlikely to me.
At least, the prediction will come fast and be easy to verify.
Just to clarify, we are talking, total and utter destruction, right?
Involving fire and brimstone coming from the sky, correct? And soon followed by a rise in the number of local conflicts?
So, a local fire, like are bounds to happen all the time in any major city. Or even a series of wildfire like happened in October 2007 would not qualify, correct?
Let's clarify our criteria, here, we are talking about a major event that will send considerable disruption to the whole planet, I don't want any ambiguity.

Consider yourself mocked.
Heavily.
I'll do my best to answer some questions.
1) Although there may be a quake involved, it won't be a mere quake, or terror attack bombing etc, it will be literal flaming sulfur from the skies.
Well, this is definitely more strictly-defined than anything I was suspecting. Death by some sort of volcanic eruption, possibly combined with a massive earthquake. I can accept that.
Why is he so angry with us? And why California specifically? I was under the impression that God was conservative. Isn't Massachusetts considered the most liberal state in the US?
3) The results of this judgment.
One is that many will be saved by it, as it is written,
"When your judgments are in the earth, then the inhabitants will learn righteousness"
And-
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom".
So "Be afraid of me" and "When I'm beatin' on yah with mah stick, I expect ya tah scream 'Thank'ee, sir'!"
Yeah, right.
Another is that it will give me great authority to preach the Gospel of Messiah Yeshua to the house of Israel which is job number one for me.
Again. Exploiting the deaths of hundreds of people for personal gain. Isn't this somewhat... I don't know... sick and twisted and EVIL?
And another is simple justice.
Define justice, then define the transgressions committed by the people of California.
The wicked cities of Calif are long overdue for judgment.
Hollywood esp has been the mecca of Satanic evangelism for decades.
SF? nuff said.
So science fiction movies are inherently evil.
Yeeaaaahhhh. I buy that.
The breaking of America's back will unseat the balance of power in the world, and all the hotspots will erupt into war.

Pakistan- the taliban are seeking to get control of the nukes to attack India

etc.
Prove any of these statements. I dare you.
"Nation shall rise against nation"
And from this time of great war, that Antichrist will come deceiveing with talk of peace.
(He is alive on the earth and waiting for his time.)
Is it me? I thought it was. Didn't we go over this already?

Religious extremists start the LA and SF fires to prove their own BS prophecy.
All this post tells me is that maybe he started the fire before he left. They did just say something about it being man made. Hmm....The plot thickens...
That's funny, because I'm sure people that we're completely doing what "god" told them to do, suffered the same horrible fate on 9/11 as everyone else...
Nature's Wrath is inescapable and innocence is an illusion.
Embrace doubt, it has saved more lives than faith...
Until god himself comes to me personally and gives me specific instructions and proves himself to exist (something an atheist can do that god can't) then MAYBE after extensive analysis I'll consider his opinion, but I refuse to fear that which "loves" me.

(I won't give it here as I think it may break forum rules and he is not yet a public person.)
I was also born 12 years after the revival of the state of Israel in 1948.
And the 6 day war (with one days rest, sound familiar?) that liberated Jerusalem, fulfilling prophecy began on my 7th birthday in 1967.
I don't have time to go into it more here, but there is more on the blog.

Dani' El, I just read your blog. In all truth, I am now frightened for you and for the people around you. You see Satan everywhere, you see his servants everywhere, you see hatred everywhere. You claim to be arrested "on lies", but never state what it is that you were accused of. Your first thought upon seeing the explosion was that you would be accused, as if the SFPD had been watching you under suspicion of terrorist activity. I can't help but be worried about what really will happen on the specified day.
Please, seek mental help.
Please take a bit more time to read.
I describe the events of my arrest in great detail at some point.
I bumped a post on my blog that gives all my testimonial posts in chronological order which should help you find your way around.
I've been beaten, kicked, spat on, arrested and much more by the very people I'm trying to save and all I've done is bless those who do it.
So any claims that I am dangerous are libel.
Anyway, from your perspective, faith of any kind is delusional, so I must cut you some slack for your reaction.
I've said this many times before elsewhere, if I read the same thing from someone else maybe 15 yrs ago, I would react the same way.
But God grants me patience, and I don't have long to wait.
It's been a very long 4 years tho and I'm looking forward to getting to Israel, although the challenges there are significant to say the least.

To all who asked.
I don't make wagers in obedience to my God given conscience.
I need to take a look at Randi's challenge, but from what I read in an article here in SF, I must not understand what it's about.
Anyway, that's not the main reason I am here.
I would hope that the money would become a freewill offering after the judgment to Voice of the Martyrs, Canada.

Atlanta ga has a large gay population in midtown so why aren't we going to get some fire and brimstone?
By the end of the age, all of the world's major cities will be destroyed by war, tsunamis, an asteroid strike, quakes, and much more.
And the judgment of Calif will be a judgment on the USA as a whole.
It will set off anarchy.
All the rumors of Fema camps and troops training in American cities are true.
In the end, the USA will cease to exist as we know it, and the North American Union will be formed, one of the 10 kingdoms of Daniels prophecy with the Antichrist ruling the world from NYC/UN which is Babylon the Great.
This is why Mexico is in such a mad rush to clean up her act in the last months.
Canada, Mexico and the USA will become the North American Union in the next few years, but like I said, many in the US will resist with arms and it's not going to be pretty.
Not in GA or anywhere.
The whole world is going to descend into this trouble.

Please consider my previous advice and go get a check up from a qualified doctor. Everyone should see a doctor on a regular basis and get screened for various illnesses. Ok, I'm back, so you can settle up your bets.
Please be patient as my time online is limited and I'm buried with questions.
I invite you to my blog for much more, esp my um... rather unusual testimonies.
Mock away, I'm quite used to it.
thejudgmentofsanfranciscoluke17.blogspot.com
I'll do my best to answer some questions.
1) Although there may be a quake involved, it won't be a mere quake, or terror attack bombing etc, it will be literal flaming sulfur from the skies.
SF? nuff said.
The breaking of America's back will unseat the balance of power in the world, and all the hotspots will erupt into war.
N and S Korea (Kim Jong is dying and would love to set off some kind of suicidal attack)
Pakistan- the taliban are seeking to get control of the nukes to attack India
Chavez is seeking to attack Columbia.
And esp Iran/Syria verses Israel
etc.
"Nation shall rise against nation"
And from this time of great war, that Antichrist will come deceiveing with talk of peace.
(He is alive on the earth and waiting for his time.)
So the judgment of Calif will set the dominoes falling all the way to armegeddon.
That's all for today-
Be back tomorrow.

I have to agree. God is pretty pissed at CA. He gives us great weather, a variety of industries to make us prosperous, a damn fine post-secondary public education system and what do we do?
We won't let consenting adults enter into legal contracts with those they love if they happen to have the same genitalia. We let businesses offer low wages, luring illegal immigrants and punish the lured more often than the lurers, letting the cycle continue. We allow our high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools to be ********** up. We run our budget into the ground.
We're a bunch of ******** ruining a good *********** thing.
I'd be pissed at us as well.
No deal.
I don't gamble with the resources God gives me.
And to consider that God lied to me is deeply offensive.
I will not even let the thought enter my mind.
So the only thing to do is wait.

Dani'el, let me introduce you to Australia's own Pastor Danny Nulliah:
http://www.smh.com.au/national/pastors-abortion-dream-inflames-bushfire-tragedy-20090210-832f.html
He blamed Victoria's devastating bushfires, where 170 died, on Abortion Law:
The Catch the Fire Ministries has tried to blame the bushfires disaster on laws decriminalising abortion in Victoria.
The Pentecostal church's leader, Pastor Danny Nalliah, claimed he had a dream about raging fires on October 21 last year and that he woke with "a flash from the Spirit of God: that His conditional protection has been removed from the nation of Australia, in particular Victoria, for approving the slaughter of innocent children in the womb".
He stopped well short of Armageddon though, so perhaps you would like to contact him and let him know not to hold back in future.

So, you never did answer me. Are you related to Josh Freeman? You know he plays for Tampa Bay now, so he's a Buccaneer. That's a big word for Pirate, so I guess he's all evil now, so maybe not. I don't think God would let you be related to a pirate, would he, being such an important prophet and all.

Since God's going to be tossing around all this doom and gloom at the end of the month anyway, do you think you could put in a request for me? See, I'm still kinda miffed at Bremerton, Washington. Dani, how exactly did god's message manifest itself in your head?
Because I've had, at various times throughout my life, the sound of celestial trumpets as if they were in the middle of my head, while I was alone in my room with no TV or any other device turned on. I've also had voices in my head saying various things (usually calling my name or telling me to go somewhere).
I can see how someone with a belief in god could easily think that my experiences were something divine, but it turns out that I've just got some glitches in my software. Can you consider how you'd prove this, one way or the other, to yourself with your experiences?

Dani' El... regarding the claims that you may be dangerous (and your following denial)... I do have a question for you.
From reading your blog, along with the comments, you make the following comment:
"So when God gave command to Saul to kill that Amalakites, He was to be obeyed, and there was no justifiable reason to demand perfect knowledge of Him before obeying.
He knows all, we don't, and is to be trusted."
Therefore, my question is... if God tells you to kill the unbelievers or homosexuals around you, will you trust Him and begin the killing?

Why is he so angry with us? And why California specifically? I was under the impression that God was conservative. Isn't Massachusetts considered the most liberal state in the US?

California isn't nearly as liberal as many people think. Politically, California is a small version of the country as a whole. The coastal side (excepting Orange County, which is still conservative) is generally liberal, but the interior is generally conservative.

Schizophrenia is a brain disorder that can be controlled with drugs, characterized in part by disorganized thought, hallucinations (usually 'voices'), and is frequently accompanied by some degree of religous fixation. I don't think Dani can help it, and hope the survival of LA and SF will prompt him to take meds...schizophrenia is often a progressive disease, but antipsychotics can slow or stop the progress.

Ok, I'm back.
I don't have time to answer everyone so I'll just make a statement.
1. Thanks to all who show a misguided but genuine concern, but I am fine, and this will be proven shortly.
I've been talking with many, including many atheists who are baffled by my testimony.
I am lucid, coherent, and not rambling or abusive.
All these are not possible for paranoids under the circumstances that I endure, like the mockery witnessed here.
Many conclude therefore that I am the greatest poe of all time. ;)
John 10:20 And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
All the prophets, including Jesus heard these same words.
The problem here is not mine, but your own faulty axioms.
You pressuppose that there is no God, or the rest.
Satan, heaven, hell, the bible is not God's word etc. so of course, you will conclude that I am a liar, or deluded, or worse.
What is interesting is that many of you were willing to at least accept the possibility that SF and LA will be judged, and to wait and see, but when you read my blog?
Well that was too much for you.
But fast forward to Yom Kippur in your minds.
When you see Calif in flames, your pressuppositions, the lies that Satan has filled your heads with that blind you, naturalism, materialism, evolution etc will go up in flames as well.
Then ask yourself.
If I am who I say I am, a prophet sent by God to expose the Antichrist, to go to Israel and be instrumental in bringing the Jews into the new covenant; would not Satan be determined to stop this with all his might?
He tried for 49 years and failed, all glory to God.
So take another look at my blog in this light.
I have not said anything outlandish there from this viewpoint.
I did not claim to sprout wings and fly to Jupiter.
Anyway, I have many very determined enemies who have searched every word I've written in the last few years, and they've found no contradictions, bad doctrine, or anything with which I can be accused.
The only thing that can be done at this point is to wait and see if what I say comes to pass.
Not long to wait.

Thanks to all who show a misguided but genuine concern, but I am fine, and this will be proven shortly.
If it is instead proven shortly that you've been mistaken, will you seek qualified medical advice, or make excuses?
Being right on such an unlikely prediction will convince most of those who've mocked you and not been roasted by wrath.
What would being wrong convince you of?

Ok, I'm back.
I don't have time to answer everyone so I'll just make a statement.
1. Thanks to all who show a misguided but genuine concern, but I am fine, and this will be proven shortly.
Okay. But if it doesn't, please, go see a professional psychiatrist. If you are, indeed, a prophet, when this does come to pass I will convert on the spot. Assuming that you can prove that it was an act of God, anyway. Your being spirited away to Jerusalem without any means of physical transportation would be proof enough if it did happen.
I've been talking with many, including many atheists who are baffled by my testimony.
I am lucid, coherent, and not rambling or abusive.
All these are not possible for paranoids under the circumstances that I endure, like the mockery witnessed here.
Many conclude therefore that I am the greatest poe of all time. ;)
On the contrary. It is entirely possible for someone suffering from delusion or schizophrenia or paranoia to appear entirely lucid and coherent. But when they start prophecying the destruction of California, that's when you start thinking, "Hey. This person might need help of some kind".
John 10:20 And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
All the prophets, including Jesus heard these same words.
I don't get it. Are you accusing yourself of insanity?
The problem here is not mine, but your own faulty axioms.
You pressuppose that there is no God, or the rest.
Satan, heaven, hell, the bible is not God's word etc. so of course, you will conclude that I am a liar, or deluded, or worse.
We presuppose nothing. In fact, many of us are former Christians, Bible-thumpers like yourself. I myself am a former Catholic. If we presupposed anything, it was that God did exist. You are the one with the presuppositions, so yes, we are going to conclude that you are a liar, deluded, or worse. The "or worse" is what I'm going with, and I again urge you to seek medical help.
What is interesting is that many of you were willing to at least accept the possibility that SF and LA will be judged, and to wait and see, but when you read my blog?
Well that was too much for you.[/qutoe]
We are still willing to accept that you are a prophet IF WHAT YOU PREDICTED ACTUALLY COMES TO PASS. Until that time, however, I will make use of Occam's Razor. You are not a prophet. You are a sick man who is in need of serious help. Please, go see someone.
[quote]But fast forward to Yom Kippur in your minds.
When you see Calif in flames, your pressuppositions, the lies that Satan has filled your heads with that blind you, naturalism, materialism, evolution etc will go up in flames as well.
No.
You see, California being destroyed in the way you say it will be will not topple the theory of evolution or any other scientific theories. Evolution does not contradict the idea of God. Unless God himself came to me and said, "Hey, Pure_Argent. Evolution is a lie", I would not believe it to be false.
All the destruction of California will prove is that there is a god. It will not have any effect whatsoever on any scientific theories.
From this viewpoint, no, you have said nothing strange. But this viewpoint is false. It is the product of whatever mental illness you are suffering.
Anyway, I have many very determined enemies who have searched every word I've written in the last few years, and they've found no contradictions, bad doctrine, or anything with which I can be accused.
But I assume they, too, pointed out that you are simply suffering from a mental illness, and you likewise ignored them. You shouldn't. We are concerned for your well-being.

How did you learn of this site and forum?
What prompted you to join the forum and begin posting? Did you lurk for a while first?
What other sites do you like and visit often?
Do you participate in other site forums? If so, which ones?
What did you hope to accomplish by starting this thread?
Thanks in advance.

I actually believe in God, you know.
Kindly cease your "presuppositions" about the idea that everyone on this forum is an atheist, as that is not the case. I simply know better than to argue for the existence of God logically on this forum, as there is no evidence beyond my own personal experiences, and even I recognize that is not sufficient evidence for anyone other than myself. But apparently you believe in a vengeful, murdering God, whereas I believe in a benevolent, loving God who simply does not interfere directly in the lives of the beings He/She/It created. It's called free will; as I recall, that's in the Bible (even though I don't view that as the word of God, you apparently do) as well. But that's not my main point anyway.
I've refrained from posting until now, but speaking from a semi-trained standpoint (I have a degree in psychology) you need help. Please, please seek the advice of a mental health professional soon; from what I can tell, you would have nothing to lose by doing so, but your refusal so far to do so is telling, to say the least. You are showing signs of paranoid schizophrenia with associated delusions, and you need medical attention. I won't say anything more at this point other than I truly hope you listen and heed my advice to seek help. I am truly concerned for your well being, Daniel; you are not well. Please, seek help soon. Thank you.

For an uninsured American, this notion of seeking medical help is the sort of thing that can drive one crazy. This thread, if nothing else, makes a good case for health care reform.
OTOH, its sort of fun to have some weird religious nut-cases among us.
I'd be interested if the prophet has guns, and what types.
And if he takes drugs, and what kinds.
I sense some meglamaniacal influences; not all that unusual. We all like to feel important.

While it is quite obvious that all is not exactly as Dani claims and the more fanciful elements are cause for concern, it also seems that more mundane events may be entirely imagined.
I was curious about the Prince Charles rebuking episode from his blog so I googled and could find no mention at all. The LA Times report (http://articles.latimes.com/2005/nov/09/local/me-royals9)on Charles' visit to the Empress Hotel mentions "a couple hundred curious onlookers", "Frank Chu, a San Francisco character who frequently shows up at public gatherings holding up a sign", and "a former resident of the Empress Hotel, from its days as a flophouse". Curiously there is no mention of a man haranguing Charles' limo "for about 5 or 6 minutes" with insults and accusations; given all the press attention you would think it would warrant at least a passing mention, especially as he refers to Diana a lot.
On a slightly lighter note, his blog also has a daily countdown, in large red type no less.

Short on time today, but a few quick notes-
First, my main goal here is not concerned with Randi's challenge, but the salvation of your souls.
Even concerning the challenge, I do not seek the money for myself, but for a ministry that helps the saints worldwide in many ways.
Concerning the challenge.
I scanned it quickly yesterday and am a bit perplexed.
The challenge says it seeks proof of the supernatural, yet the rules exclude anything of a religious nature.
It seems that Randi wants to make anyone who answers jump thru hoops to his satisfaction, but just as Jesus refused to do so at Herod's request, I do the same.
Still, the proof of God's supernatural control of His creation will be made this Yom Kippur, and if Randi is honest enough, I would hope that he would give the money to Voice of the Martyrs, Canada, as an offering that day.
Anyway, I should have some more time to answer questions later.
Oh and I heard about Randi from an atheist I know, but I heard about the challenge in a SF paper that did a feature on Randi this month.
Oh, and I know that everyone here is not an atheist, but due to the nature of the forum, and Randi's own beliefs, I assume most are.

Dani' El, thank you for your concern about my soul. I do not personally believe that I have a soul, but I know that you believe that I do.
Either way, my question for you is this: Do you understand why some people question your honesty or sanity regarding this topic?
And I don't mean this as a debate about the existence of God. For the purposes of this question, let's go with the assumption that God does exist.
However, surely you yourself believe that others are being dishonest who have claimed to talk with God and receive prophecy. Let's take the head of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints... he is known as the Prophet, and he is trusted by his followers to reveal prophecy. Now, unless he has received the same prophecy that you have and just refused to share it... then, I assume you believe him to be a false prophet.
Either way, surely you realize the well-founded skepticism that we have for anyone who steps forward with a prophecy from God. And from your blog and your comments, you seem to be fine with waiting until the end of September to be proven correct.
And if you are proven correct at the end of this month, then I'm sure you'll be making major news (and many of us will be changing our tunes). However, how can you expect us to believe your prophecy prior to the proof? If we all followed the prophecies of every supposed holy man that has ever stepped forward, we would have found ourselves deluded more times than I can count.

Dani' El, Your blog brought me to tears. You've certainly been a lot. Somewhere along the way, it was too much. Something inside you cracked. You found God, and he supports you. That is all well and good.
Perhaps God is helping you even now. You are here to help us, to save our souls. That is a kind goal. There is kindness in you, even with all the fire and brimstone.
In the name of this kindness, I echo the request of so many. Make a wager with us. If what you say does come true, I will gladly and with an honest heart walk the streets of Los Angeles telling everyone about the glory of God. I will tell them your name and that you are the prophet come to lead us.
If that day passes with no sign, will you accept that God wants to help you? That he sent you here to find help? And will you please let us (or anyone else) get you that help? Please say yes.
Go in peace.

It has nothing to do with money. If you are honest in your desire to "save our souls" then you will enter the challenge. The result will not simply be you getting money, it will be that you have proven something extrordinary and will lead millions and millions of people to believe you and become saved. You do want to save people don't you Dani? Or were you just lying. I you are not lying, then you will sign up for the challenge and save lives.
The challenge would not be about religion, it would be about your ability to know such things. The source does not matter. Most people who take the challenge claim their powers or gift comes from a religious or supernatural being.
your gift is this ability to make a prediction. If you can actually do so, then you will have provided some evidence for your god.
You mention this Jesus, but you offer no proof that such a person actually existed. So we cannot accept your argument about him until you can first demonstrate there was such a person named Jesus. You also have failed to provide us with any evidence of this soul you make a claim of.
You also speak of a god. But there are about 10,000 gods. Which one are you referring to and why that particular god?
And why would anyone want to worship a god that goes around murdering innocent people? Sounds more like a satanic cult to me. Do you like that the entity you praise goes around killing people in torturing them (because surely fire will lead to people being badly burned). Your god will be killing and harming millions of innocent babies in the process. And you take joy in the actions of this god?
It sounds to me like you are a dangerous and very disturbed person who takes joy in the harm coming to others. You want to warn people of this bad thing to come, but seem to have no problem in the source of where it is coming from.
Not to mention you still have not offered a single piece of proof for anything.
*** So Dani boy. Not to worry. My god created your god, and when I told my god about what your god is doing, he made your god cancel the plans to kill millions of innocent babies. Instead he is going to rain fire and brimstone on Voice of the Martyrs, Canada.
So you heard it here dani. Fire and brimstone will come raining down on your group. I am telling you this because I want to save your soul. You need to stop worshiping your false god and come accept mine.
Shalong.

No.
All I ask of anyone is to wait and see, unless of course you live in Calif.
I also expect to be tested and proven, no actually, I demand it.
Very few have simply accepted what I say without doing so, but I always rebuke them.
The bible warns loudly of the false prophets of the last days, so I would expect all to be very, very careful of anyone claiming the office of prophet.
Anyway, I pray that this judgment will open your eyes and lead you to faith in Messiah Yeshua.

Shalong.

Why would you think that's sarcasm? Was your post sarcasm when you made the claim about your fire and brimstone? If not, why would you assume mine is?
This is NOT an issue of a religious claim. This is an issue about you having a magical ability to know that something bad i going to happen in the future. The fact that you claim it's from a god of your choice is not part of the challenge.

Call on the name of the Lord, friend.
Even as it is upon you, call on His name like the thief on the cross.

I will prove my claim by what God alone has approved-

It's up to Randi to accept it or not.
So in other words you have no proof. And how will you respond if this does not happen? Will you come back here and apologize? Will you think twice about your magical lord? Or will you just move on to another prediction you assume to be true yet can provide no evidence to support?

Thank you.
Mal 2:7 Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
God is love.
But He also loves justice, and will not aquit the wicked.

You just claimed to speak for an all powerful all knowing god. So did I. I did exactly what you did. Yet when you do the same thign you say is sarcasm, you don't think it's sarcasm.
You're not spread thin at all. You have plenty of time to post your god's claims, but no time to address other gods claims? How do you validate your god over mine? Why is your claim rational and mine not?
If you think my claim is irrational, then you have to acknowledge yours is because they are identical claims.

Actually no, I haven't fashioned an idol to suit myself. God is all things to all people. For the record, I am a Unitarian Universalist, and my personal spiritual journey has led me to believe in God, but I also recognize the right of others to their own spiritual journeys, whether that leads them to believing in God, Zeus, Odin, Buddha, Allah, Yahweh, Krishna, Goddess, or even no God at all. My best friend is a Pagan; I regularly deal quite pleasantly with atheists in my church. It is possible to have differing beliefs and still get along, you know. And when I say I believe in a benevolent and loving God, how did you get "does not judge sin" out of that?
I've spent a lot of time observing human behavior; I base my beliefs partially on how I have observed people act when they have done something they know to be wrong. I have made peace with my beliefs, and your proselytizing will not change my mind on this score. And yes, I do know the difference between murder and the execution of a murderer; what's your point? That the people of California in general are murderers? I'd have to disagree with you there; the majority of the population of California are good people simply trying to live their lives, many of whom believe strongly in God and His love. What exactly, according to you, did they do to bring "God's wrath" down upon them anyway?

Your proposition is outside the realm of reality for me.
I could ask you, "What will you do if you wake up to find the world is flat, and you are a golden tuna fish in a bowl?"
I have 100% confidence, so I will not even consider the possibiltity that God lied to me, etc.
I would have to deny reality to even consider it.
You'd have to witness what I have seen to understand, but please just wait and see.
The whole world will see me in Jerusalem on Yom Kippur, and I'll be very busy, (hamas and hezbollah are sure to give me a big welcoming party.) so I will not be able to check in here.
Of course by then, it will be settled.
(btw, I've got a few more minutes left before my puter time runs out, so I'll be back tomorrow.)
Well Daniel, you may quote the bible, but I am 100% certain that the bible god isn't the one speaking to you. You need to search inward and locate the chicken little hiding within yourself.

"If religous men gain access to nuclear weapons, there will be war on the horizon.."
I heard a teacher of mine say that. He is a very intelligent man, with many thoughts and opinions, and wise enough to admit when he is ignorant.
I say this because many wars were over religon.
Religion was the dominant ideology behind many conflicts of the Middle Ages. Muslims were in conflict with Zoroastrians during the Islamic conquest of Persia; Christians were in conflict with Muslims during the Byzantine-Arab Wars, Crusades, Spanish Reconquista and Ottoman wars in Europe; Christians were in conflict with Jews during the Crusades, Reconquista and Inquisition; Shamans were in conflict with Buddhists, Taoists, Muslims and Christians during the Mongol invasions; and Muslims were in conflict with Hindus during Muslim conquest in the Indian subcontinent.
^^----wiki for religon----^^
Granted some were over land, conquest, and resources. But weren't the religous wars over the same thing?
This whole arguement just reminds me of this. Jehova Witnesses are able to interpet it's words and manipulate them for any situation and possible even include themselves if they wished to.
The Watch Tower Society's New World Translation of the Bible has been criticized for being of low quality, and the qualifications of its anonymous translators have been questioned. Theologists have also criticized the translators' insertion of the name Jehovah 237 times in the New Testament in places where the term is not used in the extant Greek manuscripts. Various biblical scholars have noted that the translation of certain texts may be biased in favor of certain Witness practices and doctrines. The translation has also been criticized for lacking aesthetic qualities and favoring literalist interpretation over the poetic qualities of original texts.

Here's some numerology that some may find interesting if they can put away the mockery.
(edit- I am not allowed to post links yet but this is on my blog under "signs that the judgment of SF is at the door")
I was born 3000 years after king David on June 4, 1960,
6-4-60 or 2 days before 6-6-60 as I am the one who reveals the name of the Antichrist.
Compelling coincidence, if it's true. I will need to see some form of identification in order to confirm this.

Heh, I was watching a show about Joshua today on The History Channel, and they were telling the story about how the sun was going down on some big battle before Joshua's forces had managed to kill all the people God wanted dead.
So Joshua prayed.
Did God kill the few remaining enemies himself?
He did not.

Frankly, I'm very concerned about Dani' El. My hope is that he is simply lying and looking for attention. However, I worry that he may actually believe what he is saying... which means that he may potentially be dangerous to himself or others. I worry about the end of September; not because I believe that California is really going to suffer some type of cateclysm... but because of what he may do when it doesn't.
Several posts ago, I asked him a question... basically, what would he do if God commanded him to kill unbelievers or homosexuals? On his blog, he has stated that the killing in the Bible was justified (even killing of children), because we are not as wise as God, and we should not question him. I did not receive an answer to this question. And I deeply worry about what "God" may request of him should the California cataclysm not occur.
I admit that I too long to ridicule the kinds of posts that he presents. I have often done it myself. And maybe I am overly optimistic in trying to reach out to him... maybe it will not help one bit. However, I am hesitant to ridicule him. If he is truly mentally ill, then ridicule may just drive him deeper into his convictions.
I'm not judging anyone. I've certainly thought of at least a dozen sarcastic replies to Dani' El's posts. However, we must realize that people with mental illness exist. And it must be a rare situation for a mentally-ill person to actually realize that they are mentally-ill. I'm no psychologist, but I think I'll choose to treat this situation seriously for now.

From reading him blog... I would guess that he would say that your soul can be saved by accepting God and repenting of your sins. However, this doesn't mean that your life can be spared.
He can certainly correct me if I have misinterpreted his writings. However, I don't think he views death as a punishment for believers. When God kills children, this is not a bad thing... after all, these children will immediately reside in paradise with their lord God.
God can do no wrong, and is righteous in all his actions. Therefore, if he destroys a city that includes two million sinners and one million righteous... then it is still a good action. The loss of life for those one million righteous is not a bad thing. In my opinion, this is possibly the most dangerous mentality that one can obtain.
Again, I could be completely wrong about the comments on his blog, and I welcome correction. Overall, though, I gather a sense of "Death is coming, and you better be on God's side when he kills you" mentality.

Don't think he was Jewish, though. At least he didn't LOOK Jewish, being 6'6" and all.
What, there are no 6'6" Jews?
I was thinking of Brad Garrett (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brad_Garrett) myself.

Oh great. I thought this was going to be a Giants Vs Dodgers thread. Guess I should have paid attention to what forum I staggered into. Oh well, I guess deep down I knew I'd eventually pay the price for the city view and really good fresh fish.
Dani' El, If you're ever interested, I have some friends here in The City that would like to talk to you. They're really understanding, they'll never judge you and they just want to make sure you're doing OK. That's it. PM if you want the contact info.

I didn't/couldn't read his entire blog, just enough to get a bit of the flavor (when fish tastes bad you don't eat the whole thing), but my feeling is yes - his god will save your soul but destroy your physical life in the process.
Another thing about these modern day religious prophets is that while their god is more than willing to destroy SF and LA in 2009, since the "days of Lot", this same god was unable or unwilling to identify a more suitable target somewhere in history for destruction? Amongst the obvious other factors, his prophecy has a lot to do with the date of his salvation and his subsequent search for a personal culprit.

Sorry friend, that's idolatry, pure and simple.
And 4000 unborn children are being murdered everyday in the USA.
You're committing idolatry for 10,000 other religions. So Sorry my "friend" you're a hypocrite who seems to have run away from your own thread.
And your god won't be very please that you claim to speak on his or her behalf and represent what it's wants and needs are, yet completely misrepresent his or her word. you are not guilty not only in the eyes of all the other religions, but your own.

Is there anyone in Dani's area that might be able to recommend a good therapist and perhaps some good medication that might be able to help Dani?

Ok, I'm back.
My time is very short today, so I cannot even try to untangle the mass of questions/mockery/sarcasm here.
As you may imagine, I am swamped with questions right now from all quarters.
I am not 'abandoning my thread" or ignoring anyone.
I hope to have a bit more time online after the holiday, so please be patient.
I just wanted to share a couple of things.
1 is that all of God's elect will be delivered from the judgment, which is why in Luke 17, the warning to not go back for anything and "Remember Lot's wife" is given.
So if anyone fears this wrath, flee from it by calling on the name of the Lord RIGHT NOW.
The point I was trying to make earlier, is if one sees the fire coming down, having not done so earlier, they may well have salvation, like the thief on the cross, but still lose their lives.
2. I wanted to share one of the more powerful signs that was given last year that this is coming.
When Calif bypassed the will of the people and forced sodomite marriage thru the courts, I began to give warning. An early season heat wave began in Calif.
When the first sodomite marriages were performed in Calif I stood on the steps of city hall and gave warning.
3 days later God sent an unprecedented dry lightning storm that kindled a shocking 2000 wildfires in the state.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gap_Fire
All of the fire officials were in a state of shock.
The weather officials said this was an unprecedented event in Calif history.
I've lived here for most of 49 years and have never seen anything like it.
And of course, we've had the several terrible wind driven fire storms that have torn thru San diego and LA since then.
Those nearly 100 mph Santa Anas were not your normal wind event.
Anyway, thanks again for the misguided but genuine concern for my health.
But I am more than fine, thanks.
I am also praying for anyone who hears this warning, that they would repent and put their trust in the Saviour.
I know that God guides me to where He wants me to go for a reason, so I trust that some here will eventually come to the Faith.

So Proposition 8 meant absolutely nothing then? And why aren't the states currently performing same-sex marriages suffering fire like the fire-prone gay marriage-abolishing California?

Not here in SoCal, it didn't. The first part of August was unseasonably cool. The second half of August has been normal, SoCal late summer temperatures.

The 2000 fires burnt mostly forest, and were provided as a warning, not a judgment.
And this was in 2008.

The dest of Calif will be a judgment on the nation as a whole.
With Calif's silicon valley, ports, military bases, entertainment ind alll gone, the USA will cease to exist as we know her.
The north american union will be formed out of the ashes, mexico, canada, and the us.
But by the end of the age, in about 20 years, NYC will have been destroyed by what sounds like a nuke attack, and the rest of the nation destroyed by quakes, fires, tsunamis, an asteroid strike etc.
And just because one opposes sodomite marriage does not make one righteous.
The Mormons and muslims oppose sodomite marriage.
To be socially conservative will not save you.
You can be conservative, and a total greedhead.
One nees to repent of all sin and trust the Lord.
Period.

Dani'El, why do you think so many people are recommending you speak with a health professional? Can you read what you are writing through their eyes?
All the prophets, including Jesus heard the same sentiments-
19There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
20And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
Your reactions, coming from unbelief are to be expected.
But they are in error.
not long to wait.
