View Full Version : Making your own bigfoot vocalization to test

This isn't really a "Is bigfoot real or not thread", so don't worry.

Ya know all those vocalizations that have been recoreded?
(Since I'm still a newb, I can't link to a youtube recording...)

I've seen shows and read stuff where the person being interviewed, some kind of audio specialist and/or human vocal specialist says something like, "The human vocal apparatus cannot make a sound like that."

Has anyone ever tried making their own vocalization?

I think this would be a good test.

Go out in the woods with a recorder (some type of digital camera, DVR camera...whatever) (Why in the woods? To have that woodlike ambience in the background)
Set it up, turn it on.
Go about 10 yards away, ya know, so you sound distant, and do your best bigfoot call.
Then bring said audio to a lab.

See where I'm going with this?

It might be a good way to discredit or credit the vocalizations that have been taped.

This could be discussed in the MRP thread. Follow jhunter1163 in the thread (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?p=4992221#post4992221).

Well, one at least anyway. ;)

Check out the link to Stephanie's blog I posted in the MRP thread. Pretty damn close if I do say so myself. Thanks to Stephanie for augmenting the sound.

ETA: It's post #406 in the MRP thread.
