Good news everyone! Venus is a very beautiful place and is really green.

Meh.

Just her soul rode while she was sleeping.

I've had Cindy Crawford many times while I was sleeping... ;)

Yap.
Her belief in occultism is famous.
She once claimed that she was living with Tom Cruise in her before-life.

Well, it was published last year so the voters knew she had been taking trips to Venus...

From the comments:

the foreshadowing of this story? Insignificant right now, but as another puppet of the big corps., they now have more "skeletons in the closet" should they need to find another suitor puppet for their new world order plans.

Excuse me, I think I just threw up a bit in my mouth...

Good news everyone! Venus is a very beautiful place and is really green.Venus is out of reach to us mortals. But we can move to North Korea and become nationalized citizens under the Dear Leader, who is undertaking to donate to the Korean people Earth's very own moon (satire alert):

Relax it is a no news story. Just read the quote. It was a dream, nothing more.

While my body was asleep, I think my soul rode on a triangular-shaped UFO and went to Venus," Miyuki Hatoyama, the wife of premier-in-waiting Yukio Hatoyama, wrote in a book published last year.

<snip>
When she awoke, Japan's next first lady wrote, she told her now ex-husband that she had just been to Venus. He advised her that it was probably just a dream.

The former actress also claims Tom Cruise was Japanese in a previous life.

Oh ... kaaaayyyy ... :xrolleyes

The 66-year old wife of Japan's Prime-Minister-In-Waiting turns out to be Wooish.

Discuss.

Yeah, I read that article this morning. Nancy Reagan liked to hold seance's so it's not entirely unheard of for politicians spouse's to be a little out there. As long as they're seen as "harmless" and the head of state does not seem to ascribe to those beliefs, people are usually fine with it. They see it as cute or even strange but not in any significant way.

She obviously watched "The Last Samurai."

There's a lot of batty middle-aged Japanese women running loose.

I once had a Japanese language teacher tell me in complete seriousness that in addition to her telekinetic powers she could also predict the future.

Which I thought was pretty good for a nontenured instructor....

I also eat the sun. Like this [raising her arms up as if she was tearing pieces off an imaginary sun] hum, hum hum. It gives me enormous energy.

Wow. So she is able to withstand acid rain on Venus AND eat pieces of the sun without scalding herself. Tough lady.

Crikey. That's some weapons-grade woo right there. What does the Japanese electorate think of this?

.
Judging by the fact that her husband was elected, I'd hazard a guess that either (a) it mattered, or (b) it didn't.

Well, we heard rumors about her,
but we didn't realize it was this bad until Hatoyama got elected.

Most of all,
everybody hated the old ruling party, the Liberal Democratic Party (Jimin-to),
and voted for the new Democratic Party of Japan (Minshu-to)
without thinking very much.
There was no other choise...

I think I have to explain that
the prime minister of Japan is not elected directly by the people.
Not like the President of the US.
The leader of the ruling party automatically becomes the prime minister.

I feel like, there's a storm coming!!

Now I'm all covered in crazy. She needs to be dragged away whenever cameras are about.

Hopefully he won't be discussing policy with her.
