Apparently, there are some who say the Zapruder film was tampered.
Did the home movie of kennedy's assassination show any signs of alteration?

No.

Jim Fetzer was laughed out of the JFK assassination community for promoting the Zapruder film as being little more than a cartoon with missing frames, morphed-together frames, 'erased' details, and fake details 'painted' on various frames.

I didn't recall that. What I do remember is a number of claims that several frames had been transposed to justify a single-gun timeline.
I'm with you StoneWT: that flit don't shoat.

The whole Zapruder film is . . . a key document, a real minute-by-minute account of the assassination.
--Oliver Stone, professional filmmaker and JFK conspiracist
End of discussion.

Ya know.... I see the words "Zapruder film" and I can almost recall it frame-by-frame and as horrifying as it is to watch, I don't shudder.
But in a JFK assassination thread if I see the words "Oliver Stone", I shudder. That piece of crap of a movie is something Joe Goebbels would've been proud of. What a horrid bit of paranoid propaganda.
Maybe this is me being guilty for ever having bought into the early JFK conspiracies - particularly Garrison's stuff.

Let's put it this way: Jack White says it has been altered / faked. Now, let's look at his record on photography: Apollo, 9-11.
I'd bet a shedload of money on it being genuine.

Yeah, for any claim Jack White makes you can basically assume the opposite without needing to investigate further. The guy's remarkably consistent.

Of course it didn't show any signs of tampering! The NWO is just that good.

And the absolute lack of tiny, yet tell-tale signs of tampering therefore provides *conclusive* proof that it occurred.
Brilliant!

I consider Stone's "JFK" to be like "Triumph Of The Will"..it is very well made, but it is a total piece of crap which uses every trick and every lie that film is capable of to sell a very dangerous viewpoint.

Only if one takes it as anything other than a piece of Hollywood entertainment. I found JFK to be a very entertaining film, but not for one moment did I think anything in it was even remotely connected to the real world, even when it said it was.
Hollywood movies, even those with "Based on a true story" in the titles, are, at best, only distantly related to reality.
