That's a really cool idea! That's a 'legitimate' company too. Not aware of their status now, but I remember at one time Vibram™ was the name in boot and 'outdoor' type shoe soles.
Oh great, I just realized Meldrum is probably gonna get involved in this huh!?

Do they have a pair with a mid-tarsal break?

They wouldn't need a mid-tarsal break model. There's no evidence of such in any bigfoot track.
But I realize you are just joking.
Meldrum would just add the break in his track descriptions anyway.

I recall a pair of similar shoes mentioned here a while back.

Those sneaker for sure have the potential to generate tracks more realistic than many of those portrayed at Meldrum's works...
At least they would contain marks barely similar to skin folds instead of being mere plankfeet.

Absolutely. That's not even slightly an exaggeration. Prints made with those things would look better than casts from anyone of what would be the 26 individual Bigfoots represented in Paul Freeman's cast collection (http://www.stancourtney.com/portfolio/freeman.php) (with casts supported by Meldrum).

As if wiping out the logo would be a problem ..
However, it would probably be touted by some as an interesting scar , or dermal pattern ..
John Green noted how some prints had an interesting grain pattern running lengthwise ...
Duhhhh..

If people want to hoax, they will find a way. If people want to believe a hoax, they can be fooled. Prints are not proof anyway.

Enter Coleman, Krantz, Meldrum, etc, etc. It, of course, is Meldrum who is so vocal about prints being the best evidence so far.
I can't help but be amazed that Meldrum would accept the evidence as sorely goofy as that from admitted hoaxer Freeman.
