Well it looks like our friends at the Earth Liberation Front are at it again. Right here in my back yard (Snohomish County Wa) they decided to use a bulldozer to topple two AM Radio antennas. The reason, acording to their own website, is because the radio waves causes cancer in humans and animals.:jaw-dropp
This is the same bunch who fire-bombed a University of Washington building and burned down an entire tract of new homes here a couple years ago.
If you go to their main site and check the elf press office you can read how they take gleeful credit for this. (can't post link)

I saw this on CNN. What asshats.
At least it shows people who might otherwise be sympathetic what nutters they are.

Seize and demolish their headquarters and build a nuclear reactor there. Affix AM broadcast masts to the reactor. Serve aspartame-laden, conventionally grown food to the reactor's staff.
[cartoon villain] Tell ELF that any further action from their side will be followed by the construction of another new reactor, then another, and another... until they learn. MUHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAH! [/villain]

*Smacks forehead, repeatedly*
These people are the equivalent of a group of spoiled children looking for attention any way they can. I even question the sincerity of their beliefs. If they were concerned about "liberating Earth" from the grasps of the greedy humans as opposed to staging a publicity stunt to get their names in the paper, why would they have a problem with a bunch of humans getting cancer and dying, assuming for a moment that an AM radio transmission is going to give anyone cancer.
