Plus it's scheduled to rain over such of the northeast tomorrow and you know what that means. :D Truthers hate rain.

Here in Toronto scheduled some downtown rally at 7pm. But for a while they reconsidered:

oops, i didn't mean "no" expressed interest in friday so far. it looks like tom, steve and i are in, but with only 3 of us in a city of 6 million celebrating the 8th anniversary of 9/11, the event doesn't make any sense.

But who cares if it makes sense? They're gonna do it anyway:

after waiting a couple of days for responses i pulled the trigger on plan a, or meeting at nathan phillips square at 7 pm to record our thoughts at speakers corner, then celebrating our success so far by getting together with like-minded torontonians. it should be a good night for getting to know each other better, taking pictures, and showing how free we are to discuss these issues publicly and confidently in knowing we're doing the right thing.....

p.s. fyi, the saturday street action is still going since lots of people depend on us being there.

Rain also helps to cleanse the earth and the air, and that earth and air needed much "cleansing" after that day. Not just from the ash and debris that was there, but also from the emotional debris that was there. There was the constant reminder, everywhere you looked, that something horrible had happened there. But, after the rain, the buildings around looked cleaner, the windows around were washed, and even the people that were there got a good rinse. We needed it. I know I did.

What makes you think it's 300? It's not 5, but when they're up on the stairs, it doesn't look anywhere near 300 and the people watching them appear to be journalists or curious spectators. I've seen other Truther videos where they dubbed sound to make it seem like there were many more people than they had. I doubt this is over 100.

Now maybe it's sill that we're arguing about this, since anything more than 10 or so is many more than we figured they could field. one thing about crowds is it's very easy to create a feeling of 'crowdedness' and confusion. The crowd that is getting panned at around the 2:30 mark is not that large. Some of those people are curious spectators. The crowd at 2:47 is about as clear an image of the whole group as you can get. The image on my screen isn't very good, but if you count indiovidual people, you'll find that 50 to 70 people is a lot more of the mass of the group that you expected.

But really, just the fact that there are no clear enough shots to answer this definitively makes me think the video posters did not want it answered definitively.

I was wondering about this. A lot of the protestors don't seem to be saying anything. The group at the end on the steps is much smaller than the clips at the beginning and the end. Is it possible they alligned with some other fringe group to beef up their demonstrations?
