The Torture of the muslims was a necessity For the bush administration officials to force the muslims prisoners with waterboarding and other torture methods to confess something of which they were not really guilty
And now the criminal cheney is facing prosecution for his war crimes

So why post here?
Take it to the streets, spread the message, and shout it from the rooftops. “Al Qaeda are innocent, they are not mass murderers, we are".
What exactly is stopping you? Oh wait............
The ruling to kill the Americans and their allies -- civilians and military -- is an individual duty for every MuslimGod's order to kill the Americans and plunder their money wherever and whenever they find it.

Since this got moved from 9/11 Conspiracies I think I'll just point out to the uninformed that the above quote refers to poor old KSM confessing to the 9/11 attacks when it was really the evil NWO and their puppet Bush who did it.

Pardalis,
I think it's appalling that Americans were tortured by these people. However, America is a country that's supposed to stand for something, and is a signatory of the Geneva Conventions.
Torture is not acceptable even if our enemies do it.

It's not okay for anyone to torture. "They do it too" is a childish argument, especially considering the subject and the knowledge how many injustly accused are/were stuck in, say, gitmo.

And now the torturers working for the bush administration are running scared begging obama to stop reinvestigations and stop prosecutions
The next november will be in New York a referendum , more than 80.000 valid signatures have been consigned to start a reinvestigation about 9/11 controlled demolitions with a independent impartial commission ........... nyccan.org

Funny, that. If it really was an Inside Job, there'd be no need for torturing. The Government would already know what's up. So... they're torturing for fun? Or is it part of the cover -- a cover that they tried to hide from us??
Doesn't that sound stupid to you?

The thread you're looking for is here (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=149614). You could have a million signatures, won't matter if the referendum itself is legally impossible. Get ready for disappointment.

And how will they be able to do that with subpoena power that's limited to New York City? Will subpoenaing the FDNY, NYPD and Port Authority give enough information to be able to blow the lid on the conspiracy?

It's a well-known fact that policemen and firefighters will lie through their teeth unless they are handed a subpoena.

For the CIA supervisors and operatives who were responsible for torture and assassination procedures, the chickens are coming home to roost. That is, if President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder mean it when they say no one is above the law — and if they have the courage to stand up to brazen intimidation.

Unable to prevent and stop Attorney General Eric Holder from starting an Reinvestigation of torture and other war crimes that implicate CIA officials past and present, some of those same CIA officials, together with what in intelligence circles are called “agents of influence” in the media, are pulling out all the stops to quash the Department of Justice’s reinvestigation.
In what should be seen as a bizarre twist, seven CIA directors—including three who are themselves implicated in planning and conducting torture and assassination precedures— have begged the President to call off Holder.
Can someone please tell me how could the whole thing be more transparent?
The most vulnerable of this Gang of Seven war criminals, George Tenet, is not the brightest star in the heavens, but even he was able to figure out years ago that he and his accomplices criminals might end up having to pay a heavy price for violating international and U.S. criminal law.
In his memoir, At the Center of the Storm, Tenet notes that what the CIA needed were “the right authorities” and policy determination to do the bidding of President George W. Bush:
"Sure, it was a risky proposition when you looked at it from a policy maker’s point of view. We were asking for and we would be given as many authorities as CIA had ever had. Things could blow up. People, me among them, could end up spending some of the worst days of our lives justifying before congressional overseers our new " freedom to act."
Tenet and his masters assumed, correctly, that given the mood of the times and the lack of spine among lawmakers, congressional “overseers” would relax into their accustomed role as congressional overlookers. Unfortunately for him, Tenet seems to have confined his concern at the time to the invertebrates in Congress, not anticipating a Rejuvenated Department of Justice that might take its role in enforcing the Rule of law seriously.

No, the OP's author seems to imply that the torture the terror suspects were subjected to was because they were Muslims, and that's false, they were criminals who had crucial information as to other potential attacks (now I'm not making any judgement value on whether it's a good thing or not to torture them to get that information out of them), But I'm only pointing out that the torture the 9/11 victims endured and that Al Qaeda put them thorugh was specifically because of who they were, Americans.
Terror suspects aren't discriminated for their nationality or religion, but what they do.
