Some weeks ago, on the thread where Zakur, I think, told us he had broken his shoulder, (canīt find the thread right now), someone (I think it was not Zakur himself) offered to show an interesting scar on his shoulder at TAM2 to raise funds for JREF.
Back then, I offered to also show my own, very interestingly disfigured elbow as an additional fund raiser. I proposed to call it the "Freak Show".

Now Iīd like to ask this poster whose name I donīt remember to make good on his offer, as well as to gauge the interest for that proposed Freak Show.
Go for it! Satisfy your curiosity! (And help the JREF while doing so!)

I have a scar from a simple operation performed when I was but a tiny baby...I'd be happy to show it to any interested parties...;)

I have a long tongue, but I won't be at TAM to show it off.

What a coincidence! I slammed my left index finger in a door last week, and now the fingernail is... disturbing. I have been telling people I am doing the one-nail-painted thing in honor of Penn.

Let me give you a tip.

A thumb tip.

A thumb tip. Actually, they took the whole thumb. I was born a polydactylous freak. Now I'm just the usual kind.

And I will come as "The Amazingly Ugly Fat Woman with Straight Stringy Hair." We will be a matched set.

Which thumb? If the right one, how did you ever hitchike in the US?
It would seem to be possible in the UK and Oz.

And certain inlaws and other relatives have been born with polydactylism. When the surgeon asked for payment, they gave him the finger. This was not a moyel working for tips.

Yup...I used to be able to give a movie two thumbs up, and still hold my overpriced soda in my left hand. Only one thumb on the right hand now, but I suppose I could have hitchhiked to two places at once before the surgery. On the other hand, I was all thumbs, so perhaps it is better this way. (Truth be told, it really freaks some people out--but to me...I've never known it any other way...)

I think, for a REAL freak show, there should be a "freak-off" right here on this thread, with photos as reasonable proof of freakiness.

OK, let's seem 'em.
