Hey hey. I've recently graduated from an East Coast university so I've spent a few years in a row with some stupid college kids, an alarming number of whom subscribe to 9/11 CT's. I find most of them just hate Bush so why not further villify him by blaming 9/11 of him (literally). I've spent considerable time checking out various claims from various sources and found CT's to be pretty limp factually. But, being a pothead, the nagging paranoia that CT's seek to instill lingers a little so I started lurking here to see how pro/opponents of these theories conduct themselves ( I believe a good measure of a theory's strength is whether or not its proponents result to massive ******** artistry to push it). What I found was that Truthers are no different from Creationists. They are not simply wrong, they are full of ****. Any shred of doubt that remained in me has been cast aside, partly because of the twoofers' own deminished logic but also because I see many logical people here who can analyze a claim that is clearly bogus with rigor and provide reasonable responses and challenges. I know you guys could probably spend your time doing things far more satisfying that rebutting delusional worldviews but I'm quite glad somebody is doing it.

So, to all you guys and gals who stand up to willful ignorance (and believe me, your job is far from complete), I say thanks for your efforts and dedication to helping all of us on the fence avoid having to do our own research:p

Eh, I'm not too familiar with individual posters as of yet, just scoping the general discussions. Actually so far I've identified people on here more by their avatars and not their usernames so much. There's the Samurai guy, the hot chick with lab goggles, the moon landing guy, etc.
