A few years ago, one of my relatives sent out Christmas cards that featured a cartoon of a Nativity scene. In the manger was a little baby dressed in sequinned swaddling clothes, shaking his hips and sporting dark sideburns and sunglasses. The caption was "Glory to the Newborn King!"

This card was only sent to people who were thought to have "a sense of humor." Those who lacked such a sense of humor received a more conventional card.
