Man! I went round and round about this with the dorks on the original Loose Change forum years ago. One of the most vocal proponents of this airport CT was JDX. He was all over the murals and swastika crap. His most laughable claim was that the Denver International Airport was actually properly called the Denver New World Airport. The evidence he provided to support his claim was a photo of a dedication plaque for the New world Commission.

Yikes. I thought it was a conspiracy to create the most convoluted eyesore in the Rockies.

Personally I think DIA kicks ass, that's just me though. As for the video, or rather the first 90 seconds of the video.....yawn.

I see that shipping the condemned around in box cars is too primitive for those in charge of our FEMA death camps.

I had totally forgotten about this conspiracy theory when I was in the Denver airport. I thought the place was beautiful, clean and well laid out. It's one of very few airports I actually liked.

As for the conspiracy theory: j00s/masons/reptilians/illuminati/NWO/bigfoot/Lucky Charms Leprechaun rule(s) the world. Of course they'd put vague (and kinda' weird) clues everywhere, including a controversial airport. Don't you see the logic?

I thought it was a conspiracy by the contractors to make as much money as possible with delays and cost overruns, since the Denver airport is commonly considered the postal child for Government projects gone totally out of control. Now that conspiracy I would buy in a instant......

Heyyyy...Contractors who want to make as much money as possible from a job, and squeeze their contract holders as much as possible.

Like THAT'S never happened before. :D

Being from Denver, this one always cracked me up. They always get stuck on the Masonic Time Capsule and this goofy construction worker interview about there being an underground facility there, where he's heard screaming and saw children being taken down there...

I believe the ORIGINAL CT had nothing to do with this...as the above version of the story was heard on Alex Jones. Everything but the time capsule stuff, I believe was made up.

It's a fun and fiesty fable of fiddlesticks and frolic.

True, but the crap that went on with the Construction of the Denver Airport took it to new heights.

I like the way they are hiding the aliens in the baggage system, at least if I remember the theory correctly.

Can we start a conspiracy?

Who would like to help me climb up on the roof with red paint and make the place look like a circus tent?

Really, with the shape of that roof, the red paint is all it would take.

Your way off on this one. I'm from Boston, the home of the "Central Artery Project" (Big Dig). DIA was diddle squat compared to our side of pork.

Time capsules are evidence of a conspiracy now (at least in the minds of CT'ers)? Well, damn, I guess I've been part of a conspiracy since third grade. My class buried a capsule. When can I claim my NWO pension? Do I get free tickets to the Masons' next pot luck dinner? I loves me some free food.

I'm not gonna watch this video. Can anyone summarize what the alleged conspiracy here is - like who's doing what for what alleged ends? Cause so far from the comments here it just sounds like a few random gripes and suspicions and coincidences strung together into an amorphous blob of the same.

The airport is the centre for the new world order. One year after it was built the JREF was founded. A few years later the perfect controller for the NWO was found Phil Plait so he become president of the JREF and moved near Denver, not too close or everyone would of figured it out. In the lower levels is where he controls everyone by messages hidden in all podcasts interviews, only the worthy to survive listen, the rest are toast.

Man making this junk up is to easy.

Oh, there is lots of competion.
I live in the West, and the DIA fiasco got huge coverage, and became a major political issue in Colorado, with both parties trying to make blame the other. Of course, both parties had politicians who were making pleny from The DIA Mess.

It all a bunch of nonsense. THe only "conspiracies" I would buy into is that some of the outrageous cost overruns and delays on the DIA construction were not accidental, but quite deliberate to fleece the taxpayer.

Apparently, according to the CT'ers, the paintings at the Denver Airport are a blue print of just how the NWO will take over. Each painting is a future happening, such as the white stomping the black bla bla bla, things got very detailed at GOD LIKE PRODUCTIONS but I don't remember the details clearly...

In addition to all the NWO garbage, the video claimed that DIA was built even though Denver "already had a functioning airport" and "DIA had less runways".

The old Stapleton Field was a "functioning airport" only in good weather, as the runways were so close together that half of them had to be shut down whenever the airport went on IFR, resulting in huge backups.

Not to mention that it was a huge superfund site.

..and there was no room for expansion whereas the new site has oodles of room for expansion and, contrary to what the other guy thinks, has twice the runway capacity with room for two more at least.

i heard the denver airport is where all the illuminati are gonna leave from when planet x appears. Apparently they're gonna fly to Scotland and stay at Donald Trumps new golf resort. Scotland being the home of the freemasons it stand to reason

I was in Boulder when DIA opened, so I heard a lot of the ruckus. Actually, I went to see DIA the weekend before it opened. It was very different then than it is now, that is for sure.

But back to the airport. There were a lot of complaints when it first opened. The biggest complaint was that it was so far out of town, and Stapleton was so much more convenient. Indeed, there is something to be said about that 15 mile drive down Pena Blvd. However, now that more of the back roads are open (the Turnpike, or even Tower Road to 116th), it is a lot easier to get to. Heck, even folks in Boulder are finding it not to much of a problem. Shoot, even Longmont is not all that far away these days. (BTW, I am currently having similar complaints about the new terminal in Indianapolis - it now takes more than 15 minutes longer to get to the airport than it used to)

A second problem with DIA was that the aircraft traffic patterns changed, and people who were not used to it were suddenly living at the end of the runway. I remember reading in the paper that the FAA had received something like 600 complaints in one month - ALL FROM THE SAME PERSON! Think about that, it means that this person called 20 times a day. Outside of that, aside from grumblings, there was no serious issue.

Despite the locals complaining, DIA was a hit among pilots was my impression. They seemed to like the airport a lot. I OTOH find that it is so spacious that you end up taxi-ing a long way. However, that is always a problem at a big airport (and some small ones - Indianapolis, before the new terminal, was probably the worst airport in the country for taxi-ing, especially for an airport its size; take off or landing, you inevitably had to taxi the full length of the runway; you know it's going to be bad when you are landing and you pass over the terminal on your way down to the runway; things are better now)

Shoot, even Longmont is not all that far away these days.40 minutes from my garage to the passenger drop off. I think it's one of the easiest airports to get around in, the NWO did a great job ;)

Opening the Turnpike certainly made that a lot better, though, didn't it? Before that, you'd have to get over to 25 and take that down, right?

Calling up the FAA and complaining 20 times a day for a month shows either incredible tenacity or utter lunacy.
