So Randi says, "I encourage readers to visit the link mentioned above," refering to the http://www.alternativescience.com/ link, so they can evaluate for themselves how silly these people are.

I click on it and the very first item I see is, "Do You Really Need Your Brain? Scans have found more than 100 people with "No detectable brain" in their heads."

:D :D :D

Couldn't have said it better myself...

I bet if they scaned Richard Milton (the author of this BS) they would also find virtually no brain at all.

I also got a kick out of this one

James Randi's Million -- Why you'll need psychic powers to part Randi from the $1 Million he has offered for proof of the paranormal.

My first thought was "Yeah, you do need psychic powers. That's kinda the point isn't it?"

The wonderful site seems designed to... sell his books. Most links eventually lead to purchasing opportunities.

Interesting though, the site has this DISCLAIMER:

Disclaimer
(Quoted from Shattering the Myths of Darwinism)

" The world is full of people who want you to believe their 'ism'
-- Darwinism, Freudianism, Marxism, and the rest. Don't accept
anything they say unless they can substantiate it with scientific
evidence, however persuasive their arguments and however
authoritative their position. Insist on consulting the primary sources
of evidence yourself and make up your own mind."

Seems like words to live by, but Funny, I thought a disclaimer was something like a denial that the author was actually responsible for anything that was written. "huh".

Oh, here it is...

Main Entry: dis·claim·er
... relinquishment of or formal refusal to accept an interest or estate b : a writing that embodies a legal disclaimer

But my personal favorite is the dubious award from the apparently nonexistent "Pure Illusions Awards"

Congratulations from Pure Illusion Awards. We are honored to inform you that you have won the "CONTENT AND LITERARY MERIT AWARD." None of our awards are easy to win and you should feel Honored to have received this recognition of your hard work. You have done a fine job and I am honored to be able to present this award to you and your website. It is evident that you have worked very hard.

Humm, maybe just me, but I might have reconsidered before posting the award on a supposed science site...
