Just watched the History Channel. According to the History Channel, Newton decoded the Bible's undecodable Revelations.
According to the narrator, some dates have come to pass such as World War 11, return of Jews to Israel, the six day war, expansion of Israel.
Some things have not happened, such as the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple on the site of the Dome of the Rock which would have the Muslims upset.
The date set for getting :rule10 is 2060, so according to Newton, we have plenty of time before we have to pack our cases.

Just watched the History Channel.
Wait, didn't they promote the "2012 is the end of the world" nonsense as well?
Can't they make up their mind?

2012 is the end of the Mayan calendar and the alignment of the galactic plain. It's basically a pot luck of end-times dates if you want to think about it...not something you want to do if your really depressed, gets you laughing if your in a silly mood though.

Jeez, I slept right through 3-10.

I plan to sleep through 11, too. If it's anything like the 08/08/08 and 09/09/09 ends of the world, TV will be more interesting (and I NEVER watch TV).

2060? Well, swap the zeros and non-zeros and you get 2600. Half of 2600 is 1300. Turn the number around it's 0013. Remove the leading zeros and it's 13. 13 is a very unlucky number. We're all doomed!

On what logical basis can the History Channel entertain programmes concerning future predictions?!

Well, if they can show programs about a history that never happened, it makes sense for them to predict a future that won't either.

The excuse is they've a historical figure (in this show's case its Newton) featured and offering up a dish of prophecies. 2012's prophecies were offered up by the Maya, who were also historical, so they have an excuse there too...a thin one.:boggled:

Attach a deflated balloon to a length of surgical tubing, have a dinner including cabbage, beans, and turkey, store the end result of said dinner using said surgical tubing to assist in inflating said balloons, and use those balloons for performing as a ventriloquist version of Le Pétomane.

In 2060 I'll be 97. At that point, if the worlds wants to end it'll be OK by me.

Noting some of the driveways that have not seen paving or touching up for a decade or so, it would seem that nature shares a skeptical point of view about coming to an end...back to discussing mankind.

Turning 1300 around gets you 0031, not 0013. :p

Turning 1300 around gets you 0031, not 0013. :p
But that's only if you use regular numbers and not super secret nano therm*ate versions of numbers, in which case 31 is not only interchangeable with 13, it is also interchangeable with any number with which anyone wishes to interchange it.
And in any event, if you use the Corndog rules, you can interchange any number with any other number and add or subtract 1 or 2 or 66 at will, and 3+1+0+0 = 4, and 4 is 2 x 2, and 3+1+2+2 = 8, and 8 is 1 less than 9, and 13 less 2 is 11. So, 9/11 was an inside job.
Anyone who says otherwise is totally a paid shill/disinfo agent (PDSA) deliberately trying to undermine the truthful truthiness of the truth telling truther movement (TTotTTTM) and is clearly a traitor who should be shot at dawn. Or drawn and quartered at noon. Or written a tersely worded letter at three. Or, ohhhhhhhh, look, something shiny....

2060.. that is too far away from 2012 to be useful for woo marketing. We need several more dates between 2012 and 2060 to fill that long void. Surely there are good end of the world scares that can be dreamed up to cover, say, every 6-8 year period of time between 2012 and the end of time. Surely.

According to Exodus 2006 (http://exodus2006.com/index.htm) Yellowstone's gonna pop next year. We don't know if it's a tiny pop or a big kaboom.

They got that Obama is a Nazi, Iran will cause holocaust by the hands of Bush, and info on fema camps from "biblical codes"
So much for the guesses-
Aug 2007 Thomas Chase uses an incredible mishmash of Bible prophecy, numerology, Y2K, Bible codes, astrology, Cassini paranoia, Antichrist speculation, news events, New Age mysticism, the shapes of countries, Hale-Bopp nuttiness and more to show that Armageddon will happen around the year 2007, perhaps in August of that year.
