Why on earth would they be all over down town Manhattan?

Most of the people killed at WTC, died when the towers collapsed, and the few who died prior to that - and who were at the ground level - weren't really in a position to be filmed anyway. In fact, I'm fairly sure that Jules Naudet was the only person with a camera allowed access to the WTC complex after the first tower was struck. And his comments on filming dead people can be heard in the 9/11 film.

The area was kinda evacuated so opportunities to take pics will have been somewhat limited. The majority of the human remains tended to be in rather small bits which limits their value as evidence so those takeing photos for official purposes would have been unlikely to take many either.

Unfortunately, the only publicly available images I'm aware of are unidentifiable. The ones in the Moussaoui trial evidence roster are either from far away, or are

I know someone who worked for Radio-Canada on the day of 9/11, and he told me he saw things that were edited out that were never shown to the public.

I think it's fairly common practice, the investigators release only a minute part of their material to the media, and the media itself filters out the graphic content. Only a fraction of that material manages to leak out in sites like "rotten" and other teen shock sites. I'm sure the FBI photographs used in the Moussaoui trial are the tip of the iceberg.

If the public had access to what the police, firefighters and first responders see on a daily basis, we'd all go mad.

I came across it on a site about a company that supplied small robotic machines to remotely search at GZ in amongst the debris. Don't asked me to search for it I really don't want to see anything like it again.

I mean, it is perfectly reasonable that if any photo is ever taken, it automatically winds up on the internet. Could it possibly be that such photos, due to their gruesome nature, and for respect for the dead, and owing to a sense of basic human dignity and sympathy to the victims, are not generally posted online? Of course, they have appeared on Ogrish at times in the past and some photos were released as part of the Moussaoui trial. Some have appeared in the Library of Congress online archive. And some have even been published in book form, such as the severed leg on p. 264 of Here Is New York.

This is a gruesome topic, I know, but I say the following in order to inform: I get the distinct impression that human remains at the WTC were far less identifiable as such. There was a tremendous amount of energy involved in the collapse, and while some people were lucky in the extreme and survived in the rubble, others unfortunately were subject to those extreme forces, with predictable results. I recall reading a story where a family was contacted by the teams doing the post mortems and told that portions of an organ for one of their family members was identified. Reading NYTimes stories like these two:

Anyway, I'd bet that among the plethora of evidence the NYPD CSU gathered, there are probably quite a few photographs of remains. The problem is, since they're reserving them for trials, I don't think they'd release them even under an FOIA request. I'll leave that last for Lashl or someone else here to comment on, since I don't know what's requestable and what's not, but my point is that I'd imagine there are many photographs that aren't out in public yet. My belief and nothing but, I admit, but I think it's a reasonably logical one to draw.

Videos of jumpers impacting the ground exist yes. You can find them on liveleak (well probably I've not actualy watched the things) if you really wish to but photos are a different matter. There are close-up photos of some of the jumpers (I assume) that have appeared on Ogrish and elsewhere. In my last post, I mentioned one horrible photo of a badly savaged leg lying in the street that was published in Here Is New York. Maybe the image is in the online archive but it's definitely in the book. I recall also seeing many years ago a severed hand or arm, that might've been on Ogrish too.

Go to the screen in question.
Place your left pinky finger on the CTRL key. If you cannot find that, look under the shift button. Also, there is one on the right side as well. Use the right pinky for that one

If you have used the left pinky to hold down the CTRL button, use your right index finger (the one between the thumb and middle finger) to press the Prt Scr button right next to the F12 button.

Open the MS Paint. If you are on a MAC, use whatever the hell comes on those infernal pieces of monkey crap.

Go to Edit
Select Paste
Edit out the parts you don't want by applying the color black to said areas that contain personal information.
Save As whatever name you like
Go to Photobucket.com
If you have an existing account, input your information to log in. If you do not, registration is easy and free!

Tell him to come talk to me. I saw lots of body parts prior to the collapses. Even more so after them. Right after we got there, they were documented and removed. So, this is why you won't see many before the collapse.

I remember one shot of just this lone bare foot lying on the sidewalk. I have no desire to hunt the particulair site down now or if it's even there anymore or ever look at it again for that matter, but I'll bet pictures can be found with a little searching if that's what you want.

I think the reason there is doubt, is probably due to your MO. From my reading of a lot of your posts, you present many typical truther arguments, in the form of,

"What do you think of this theory", INSERT THEORY HERE, followed by, "...because some truther argued that this was the case".

You rarely, that I can see, ever link to where on the internet, if anywhere, this alleged truther made such an argument.

This is a skeptics forum, and a subforum where on MANY an occasion someone has presented things similarly, only to turn out to be a truther in hiding as a supposed debunker, but getting his arguments across in such a way.

I am not saying that this is the case with you, but when you continue to present truther theories, in the context of "a truther is arguing this with me" without providing any evidence (screen caps, links, etc...) of such, people will tend to be skeptical.

I think the reason there is doubt, is probably due to your MO. From my reading of a lot of your posts, you present many typical truther arguments, in the form of,

"What do you think of this theory", INSERT THEORY HERE, followed by, "...because some truther argued that this was the case".

You rarely, that I can see, ever link to where on the internet, if anywhere, this alleged truther made such an argument.

This is a skeptics forum, and a subforum where on MANY an occasion someone has presented things similarly, only to turn out to be a truther in hiding as a supposed debunker, but getting his arguments across in such a way.

I am not saying that this is the case with you, but when you continue to present truther theories, in the context of "a truther is arguing this with me" without providing any evidence (screen caps, links, etc...) of such, people will tend to be skeptical.

I understand that people are skeptic, but I dont see the point in taking screencaps of someones saying in norwegian forum that they think Obama is Anti Christ, no body died at WTC, death ray destroyed WTC or that WTC never has existed! Truthers have said all of this to me in debate... im not going to take screencaps of this in norwegian and put on here!

Im using this forum when im stuck on a subject... Im not going to prove that some one has asked me this, or said it on a norwegian forum! Espessaly if its on a privat forum..

If my goal was to lie, I could make a fake one! So a screencaps means nothing.. I was just looking for an answer to a question I could not answer, and not find an answer to.

Har du sett youtube-siden min? As you can read in this thread, many different opinions on why we dont see pictures of it. Personaly, I could not answer this question, but I knew the question was stupid. It was so stupid I did not know the answer. Many different answers in this thread.. so I guess I was not the only one! But the different is that I was honest, I said I dont know why! But it has garanteed a very logic explanation.. so not to give a wrong answer I turned to JREF.

The point is that a lot of us, myself included, simply don't believe you. The easiest way to be believed is to back up your claims with evidence.

Also, take into consideration that the scene going on that day was 1000' in the air, not on the ground. The focal point was up there, not on the ground. That could also explain some of the reasons.

Just don't forget that some media outlets have some respect for things like this. Most would not even begin to post it. Somme may not have of even downloaded it off the camera.

And if you remember that documentary, the Naudet brothers specifically mention they decided not to show some of the things they've seen.Though those people ablaze in the lobby could be heard in the background. And the sickly explosion sounds of jumpers hitting the sidewalk. Watching the reactions at each jumper's death of the high-ranking firemen manning the command center, guys who had worked their way up through the ranks and who could be assumed to have seen pretty much every horror, was moving. :(

På hvilke måte setter jeg debunkere i dårlig lys da? Det er jo en truther som har kommet med denne håpløse påstanden...

Uansett, om noen tror jeg er en truther selv om jeg har laget 20 youtubevideoer om hvor syke disse er, ja så får det være deres problem. Da sliter de med å være sykelig skeptiske.
