So the new US Navy ship New York is coming to Manhattan next month. It will be docked next to the USS Intrepid for a while so folks can get a tour of the new vessel.

What's it got to do with Truthers? Well, the boat was made with tons of steel from the WTC. So, as far as the Truthers are concerned, it was built with criminal evidence.

Will some idiotic Truthers protest at the boat, demanding that it be placed under NYPD custody as criminal evidence?

I sure hope so.

Actually, I think it's just portions of the bow that are composed of WTC steel. So they wouldn't have to confiscate the entire ship. ;)

Since all the WTC steel was spirited away to China so as nobody would notice, perhaps it should say " Made in China" underneath "USS New York". That might appease teh troof.

As a NYC employee, I will be volunteering for the Commissioning event on November 7th. I hope no truthers show up, cause if they do some other volunteer may tear them a new one.
