Sunday's "Zippy the Pinhead" comic touches on phrenology (well, to the extent that a Zippy cartoon can have a specific topic). It includes Griffy saying, of phrenology, " It's all total nonsense, Zippy--like astrology--or that "crossing over" TV show."

I used to dismiss Zippy as stupid. Then I began reading it.

I'm surprised at funny it is, in a very unstable, surreal way. My kind of humor.

And the lastest Zippy Annual is now at bookstores (just got mine today). The only comic collection I know of that includes endnotes.
