Suggest you read Against All Enemies by Richard Clarke. The first chapter is a gripping account of what the morning of 9/11 was like for those who were dealing with the attacks while they unfolded.

It would help us alot if you could be more clear about what you are trying to say.

The Galactic Empire has the Death Star! Would blow that tiny star ship (Enterprise) to particules in a Han Solo minute. Luke Skywalker could take on the entire Federation.

Red alert doesn't always help. Look how many times the Zentradi busted up Macross City, even inside the super dimension fortress. Not even Hikaru Ichijo could prevent it, not with all the Overtechnology in the world.

People? Before the attack? I'm not sure I understand.
Are you saying the people of New York City should have been fully aware of planes being flown into the towers before it happened?
That as soon as it happened everyone should have been fully prepared and made all the right choices and moves?
Are you trying to make a joke that I'm just not getting?

"Even" Star Trek has yellow alerts?

And they have warp speeds and teleporters and phasers and hand held medical scanners and holodecks...

Man, we're pathetic.

It's actually wise in its way. I believe it to be a comment on man throughout the ages and his instincts that tells him when something really screwed up is about to happen so he can prepare the proper the defense. He brilliantly and deftly suggests that Pearl Harbor and September 11th were false flags and he throws in a Star Trek reference (I'm guessing he means The Khitomer Massacre or the Doomsday Machine as examples) to show that man, even in the 24th century is a NWO lackey.

That, or he's been watching way too much television.

What is this???

I suggest ,macrosssssss,to review ST:Nemesis (maybe not great´overall, but nice final battle) You may notice that even knowing what is going may not be enough to win.

Or take a look at Dominion war (Last two seasons of Deep space nine - destruction of UFP's HQ) .

Sorry, but having yellow alert is nothing, but making possible preparation when you know threat.
