When I turn it on the following comes up:
Error loading C:\Users\user\Appdata\Local\Temp\847153281958don.d ll
The specified module could not be found.
Help please!

A DLL in a temp file is troubling. Probably this trojan (http://threatinfo.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=TROJ_AGENT.HOZZ&VSect=T) or something similar.
Run malwarebytes, make sure you have a sound firewall, etc...
ETA: the "error loading..." may be a good thing. It may mean the trojan was caught, but the DLL reference remained in your registry. Any good malware program should find and delete the registry entries, too.

Lucky you!
Start your machine in safe mode (hold down the F8 key) after erstrating and tell it 'safe mode with networking', then download and update malwarebytes.
Run the scan.
same as above. :)

Also get CCleaner and run a registry repair.

Usually a good idea to run CCleaner first, shortens the scan time.

i also like ATF cleaner but use CCleaner more.
