I've decided to research a bit up on this after remembering the topic a long time ago in a religious studies class. Google hasn't been very forthcomming with any real information apart from pages after pages of pro "Itsa Miracle!!1" news articles, and I haven't been able to find anything about it on the forums either.
Does anyone here have any helpfull links on the subject (Luci and other kooks need not apply)?

I remember there were a couple of threads related to this but I haven't been able to find any of them. I also tried Google with "Ganesh Milk". There are a lot of matches but I didn't find any that deal with the subject from a skeptical perspective. Kind of sad. I guess miracles sell better than skepticism about miracles.

Indeed...it really irates me that so many people are gullible enough to believe and tolerate most of this force fed crap and never think for themselves.
At least things have gotten better since the dark ages...I think.

There are skeptical groups in India. I did a little googling on "India Skeptics" and found this site.

It lists some rationlists, atheists, and skeptic groups and individuals in India. Some have email addresses. Perhaps you could email some of them and see if they could point you towards more useful information.

WTF is the 1995 Hindu Milk Miracle?

I'm pretty sure it was when a statue of Ganesha supposedly began drinking milk that was left as on offering to it. Sorta the Indian version of the crying virgin Marys. It may be mentioned in an issue of Skeptical Inquirer.

Hey you guys? Could I suggest that you try a really neat site? The URL is www.randi.org, it's a site full of information about the paranormal and stuff. It includes a newsletter written by this great guy Randi, where he explains ooh... lots of stuff, really explains it, tells you how all these so-called paranormal tricks are done. Anyway, he talks about this "Ganesh Milk Miracle" in one of these newsletters, think it's the one for Aug 2nd 2002?
