Twitterer @brotherrichard has come up with an amusing meme. If you compare the birther arguments to Jesus, they work just as (un)well.

except that the "H" is not his middle initial, its just christians who are oblivious to greek translations made of Hebrew nouns that think otherwise

of course you could also claim that the H stands for any name in any other modern language that didn't exist at the time of the birth of Jesus and it would be just as invalid

Everybody knows his middle initial is F. And how do we really know that he was born in Bethlehem, or in the so-called Holy Land at all? How do we know he's really eligible to be the Messiah!?

Edited to add: OK, I found Jesus' birth certificate, looks like he is eligible.
