Can the economic benefits possibly be worth dealing with this sort of idiocy?

The EU sounded like a good idea at first. Common currency and less travel bureacracy.

It amazes me how so much power gets concentrated in the EU. And to think if it weren't for America the UN could wind up being the defacto world governing body (many think it is).

Why stay in the EU? Where else could you build a criminal empire on the back of bootleg gamebirds! :bgrin:

There'll be a definite gap in the market, what with the Dutch and their watery chicken (www.guardian.co.uk/food/Story/0,2763,960404,00.html) driving people to distraction.

To paraphrase a well known quotation, EU is the worst place to live, except for all the others.

I'm sure the issue will be resolved like it has been with our kokoretsi (http://www.hri.org/news/greek/ana/1998/98-02-26.ana.html#05).
