Fort Hood Shooter With Possible Ties to 911 Hijackers?
This is interesting news. It appears that Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan attended the same Virginia mosque as two 9/11hijackers in 2001, at a time when a radical imam preached there.
The Army psychiatrist who killed 13 and wounded 29 at the Texas military base, held his mother's funeral at the Dar al Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Va., on May 31, 2001. during that time,Anwar Aulaqi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anwar_al-Awlaki) was an imam, or spiritual leader. If you are not familiar with Anwar, the link will take you to his wiki page.
9/11 hijacker Nawaf al-Hazmi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nawaf_al-Hazmi) met with Aulaqi several times in San Diego. Al-Hazmi was at the time living with Khalid a--Mihdhar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khalid_al-Mihdhar), another hijacker. Al-Hazmi and another hijacker, Hani Hanjour (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hani_Hanjour), attended the Dar al Hijrah mosque in Virginia in early April 2001.
It looks like the FBI may be looking into this further.

[Truther Mode]Clearly this was a false flag attack to both bolster the official version by manufacturing evidence that ties the shooter to the fictional 9/11 hijackers, and generate more fear of Islamofascist terrorism to perpetuate two on-going wars with flagging public support.[/Truther Mode]

Oh the CIA and the NSA won't let the FBI look into this too far.
Gotta protect them sleeper agents.

I doubt there is any real link to 9/11 here but where was all this info on him before the shooting? This guy was an officer during the war on terror? Has anything really changed since before 9/11? Is this just another "we had no idea"?

No, this appears at this moment that they might have had an idea, but you see, the whole civil liberties thing, and Bill of Rights against illegal search and seizure, and all that stuff, just happen to get in the way.
It seems that circumstantial evidence is not enought to get a warrant. Suprise suprise.
Alge,
Do you really have that hard of a time actually reading a GOOD source for info?? Are the words too complicated?? Prisonplanet.com is not a good source. NY Times, Washington Post, something like that, much better.

I didn't even read prison planet. Some of those same sources you list are talking about Joe Liberman making a connection to 9/11 hijackers. There were also mainstream reports that his peers complained about his anti-American views. This guy was in the same mosque with extremist who were involved with 9/11 and since then he has been spouting anti-American views, and this info is readily available just a few days after the shooting but before then no one had an idea enough to do anything? I'm sorry. It's just all sounding to familiar to me. Deja Vu?
Like I said I doubt there is any connection to 9/11 but come-on, who dropped the ball? Again.

This one was too good (read: outrageous) for the media to ignore.

And where do you think the media gets all this info?? Hummm......... From the Military/government?? Hum...........
Maybe its because...Someone leaked it?? Amazing, worst shooting on a military base stateside, and it doesn't take 4 days for inside info to leak out.
Seems like the NWO is slipping. Hell, its been 8 years + since 9/11, and not one insider leak like this?? Wow.
This is what I was talking about Alge.

What's your point? They had info but didn't follow up? Do we agree? Is it just another "woops" again? Sorry "we screwed up" again? Are you telling me there is an excuse in there somewhere?
NWO? What are you talking about? I said I doubt there is any real connection to 9/11. Still this guy raised many red flags in the heat of the war on terror. Are we winning yet?

Im sorry, I see you have posted, but again, you have taken what I have said completly out of context.
I gave an example of a reason they might not have been able to stop it.
I do not know if there was an offical, no BS tie to the terrorist groups in the ME. You claiming that is wrong, even if the FBI says it is looking at that possibility.
Alge, one thing you have got to understand is a VERY SIMPLE CONCEPT. Ready?? Got your thinking hat on??
People are NOT perfect. Notta one, not ever. Never. Don't forget that.

I had a whole post for you Tri but sorry I lost it and I'm tired. I guess the gist of it was I know no one is perfect but I don't want to hear the " no one could have known excuse anymore". It's frustrating. If it turns out this guy really did have any connection to 9/11 hijackers what do you think the truth movement will say? Doesn't this kind of thing fuel conspiracy theories? There should be a thorough investigation.

I think his connections to the hijackers is mostly coincidental, but it is becoming increasingly apparent in hindsight that the Army should have done something about this guy. There is no general 1st ammendment right in the military. If I were to join a neo-Nazi group and start telling my fellow soldiers that I didn't believe that Obama had the right to control the military and would not follow his orders, I would be brought up on charges before you know it.

Meh. It's quite possible that they thought he was just trying to get out of being deployed, that's not unheard of. I've seen it happen more than a few times. Get the free training and then try to get out of the responsibility of giving back whatever they agreed to when they signed on the dotted line.
