Muslims see sin as a challenge, except for sex?

In speaking with Muslims, I have found that they see sin as something to be conquered and they are not shy about taking on the challenge of fighting their desires for sin.
A good trait to my mind.
Except for sexual matters.
With these sins and temptations, Muslims hide their temptation away, with clothing and social separation, and never face and conquer this particular group of sins. An example of this would be weddings where the females are separated from the males.
Know that some are more liberal than others and there is some liberalization but think that this is not the common Muslim.
Why is there a double standard?

Face and conquer, so to speak, other sins, but hide from sexual ones.

Thoughts?

I guess I see sin as a challenge too. I got about 5 of the 7 deadly ones nailed down, but I just can't figure out how to do proper murderous Wrath without getting problems with the law, and my Greed could use a lot of work too. Well, my Pride could use some work too. Aye, it's a challenging pursuit, I can tell you.

Purification, whatever that means, is always hard. If it was easy then we would all be pure.

Huh? What? I didn't mean "purification", I meant I'm seeing it as a challenge to do all those sins :p

Don't be so hard on yourself.

Remember, you don't actually have to do anything. It's the thought that counts. Try thinking about lane changers who cut you off to get to the exit ramp, and then stub your toe really hard while you're thinking it. That usually works for me.

Carry on and good luck in your endeavor.

While not perfect, here are some ideas:

1. Get into Dexter
2. Get into FPS
3. Vote for politicians in your state who support the death penalty, or for it directly if it comes up, which they do occasionally.
4. Better yet, just move to a state that has it already.
5. Get a ccw permit and hang around on subways. Keep a spycam operating at all times to back you up whatever happens.

Greed is easy. Remember, it doesn't have to be successfully accomplished -- it's the thought that counts! It's basically just lust for everything that ain't boobs.

Surely sex is a challenge when you have to negotiate passed a Burkha?
