OK. This might need its own thread. Then again, it might be nothing. It's also possible it's been discussed before, but I don't remember it and my searches have been unproductive.
So, I'm watching the E! Channel (I know), and they are running a documentary about cults. The entire transcript seems to be here:
http://www.livedash.com/transcript/ths_investigates_cults,_religion_&_mind_control/6528/EP/Friday_July_17_2009/69169/
Anyway, one of the cults they covered was called "Eternal Values." I would draw your attention to two quotes from the show:
01:54:36 [Freddy] Von Mierers claimed to have hand-selected members for "Eternal Values" based on his belief that they were from the same place as Freddy, the star Arcturus.
and
01:56:20 In 1989, Freddy moved "Eternal Values" to North Carolina.
Coincidence?

Split made as suggested.

I was excited to find out that he was in North Carolina, and then, I have never cried so much in my life as when I found out that he had passed away. Just a personal anecdote.

Did you check out skeen's link? It's a short read. http://counsellingresource.com/ask-the-psychologist/2008/11/21/supernatural-powers/. The article is describing you almost identical to how I would describe you.
Do you find it relevant? If not, why? If your answer is that you "just KNOW" that you detected the missing kidney - well - that is in the nature of these cognitive/personality disorders. It might take a third person to recognize it. You will be just as convinced that you detected the missing kidney, or came from a distant star, as I am that birds fly.
Being aware of the above, and then refusing to accept it, is ALSO in the nature of the disorders.
I am not saying definitely that this is what is going on. My advice is that you go talk to someone professional, if for nothing else just to have it dismissed. Please? Because IF you are ill it is much better to have it sorted out now than later in life.
Lykke til.
(I have a feeling this is futile...:()

That's the guy who made her cry.

P.S. Thanks for the split, mods.

Von Mierers claimed he was an “alien from the star Arcturus,” the reincarnation ofthe prophet Jeremiah. “I’m here to train the leaders of the New Age,” he told writer Marie Brenner.“Everyone I am training for leadership will have perfect features. I believe in the master race!”Von Mierers saved his followers from the coming Millennium Armageddon, and made millions,by “prescribing gemstones” having mystical powers which he sold for many times their worth usingphony appraisals. Lynn Wyatt bought $70,000 worth, “to ward off evil.” Some of those he dupedbecame wise to his game and those “Satanic defectors,” as he called them, went to the police. Brennerexposed the cult in a March, 1990, Vanity Fair article, “East Side Alien.” Douglas Wyatt, shamed, went into hiding. Von Mierers died of AIDS in 1990 while under investigation by the Manhattan district attorney’s office.
A reincarnation of the prophet Jeremiah who 'walked in' from Arcturus, believed in the master race, ripped off the unwary with 'special' gemstones and died before VFF was 10.
Right.

Somehow, that doesn't surprise me in the least.

I hadn't realised just how far VFF had gone with this "walkin from Arcturus" = transgender until I went around to the
www.StopVisionFromFeeling.com
and I find this "walkin" discussion with VFF has been going on for over a year. Granted, it was a fellow poster who tracked down the source of this scam/cult (bravo, wardenclyffe!) but the entire extent of VFFs ploys to attract attention had escaped me. The thread over there on the subject is well worth reading, especially since VFF posts there.

I didn't track it down. I was just watchin' TV. I wish all my research were so easy.

Flowers culled, of course, from the Arcturian lilies I having growing in a windowbox sheltered from the North wind. :)
I find the "Eternal Values" gem scam rather distasteful, myself.
Or is scamming humans part of the "walkin" identity?
"Carlos" worked the crystal angle, as I recall, with great success.

On another thread, VFF made the astonishing claim that her belief she is a 'walk-in' from Arcturus is a cultural artifact.
http://forums.randi.org/showpost.php?p=5309427&postcount=441
Just to confirm my own understanding of the term, I went to Cultural artifact and as was to be expected, I found
Jump to: navigation, search
A cultural artifact is term used in the social sciences, particularly anthropology,[1] ethnology,[2] and sociology[citation needed] for anything created by humans which gives information about the culture of its creator and users.
I'm at a loss to understand how this relates to VFF's claim to be a Star Person.

It seems to suggest that, in this case, it's a concept created by a human (VfF) that gives information about the culture of its creator. Created by and about a human, not an Arcturan.
It would be interesting to find out when the documentary aired in relation to her first claims in the forum that she's from Arcturus. Interesting, but not interesting enough for me to try and find that info.
