getting the drakaverse novels by S.M Stirling.

I just wanted to hear everyone's opinion on the books.

Some interesting ideas. Fairly well written, but the main characters are somewhat odd. They seem like fairly nice people, right up until you remember their largely unswerving support for a fundamentally evil society.
