A traditional doctor in central Nigeria has been shot dead by a patient who was testing the potency of an anti-bullet charm the herbalist had prepared for him, police told AFP Wednesday.

I remember reading a story similar to this on Darwin Awards - but in that case - the victim smeared himself with the concoction, asked his tribal friends to take aim and fire at him.

The witch doctor was then promptly beaten to death.

Oh, I was going to post how dissappointed I was when i read the witchdoctor was only beaten, not beaten to death. Ah well.:D
