Went to CBS News just now and saw a link to this on front page:

What's In The Stars For 2004 (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/12/31/earlyshow/leisure/main590951.shtml)

(CBS) The planetary cycles are newly positioned for 2004. Wondering what this New Year has in store for you? One person who may have the answer is Susan Miller from astrologyzone.com and author of ?The Year Ahead 2004.?

In her book, she describes the planetary cycles for each astrological sign and explores in-depth what individuals can expect during the coming year.

She expects an unusual amount of harmony among the planets in 2004, which will result in a stable year to regroup, build on what we started in 2003, and strengthen our confidence.

I guess I must be foolish for believing that news organizations produce news. What they really produce is cheap entertainment for morons.

However, there are a few gems in this puff piece:

Michael Jackson has Jupiter protecting him until September

Unless Jupiter went to law school, I think MJ'd do better with a good lawyer.

Tom Cruise is a Cancer like Mr. Bush.

Ain't it the truth?

I am soooooooo glad there's a link to Amazon, I want to rush right over there and buy this --- NOT!!!

The last commercial network news broadcast went off the air sometime in the 1980's. Since then there's only been infotainment where the news used to be.:(

Now is the time to look at 2003 predictions and see how they did, or didn't. I wonder why CBS isn't linking us to year-old stories about predictions for 2003 and talking about how they all came true?

Oh, right. That would be news.

She expects an unusual amount of harmony among the planets in 2004, ...

Yep, I'm betting on Kepler's laws continuing to hold.

Well, if FoxNews hasn't convinced you of that, I can't imagine astrology will do the trick...
