As a purely intellectual exercise, I was wondering what it would take to establish that there were paranormal forces at work in the film 'Paranormal Activity'.

I just saw the film, as was scared out of my pants, but I also admired (putting my skeptic hat on with trembling fingers) how one of the characters sprinkles talcum powder on the floor to establish that there is an invisible Demon walking around, and how he sets up a camera to prove something was going on at night. He does all this as night after night there are strange goings-on in the house, from noises to moving furniture.

But I'm aware that video footage simply wouldn't be enough (Is it more likely nature should go out of her course than a man should tell a lie etc), so what would it take for Randi to be satisfied that nature has gone out of her course?

Really? cause this awful movie had zero scary bits, it was just plain bad, it was not good, and not scary, I guess what I am trying to convey is the total lack of, well anything, pace was awful, suspense? awful, acting? you guessed it.

Sorry, just had to get that out.
