Interesting site - they present the cases and list their equipment as if this is legitimate research. Check out the photos in the case reports - seems a little lens cleaning is in order!

I too have seen their site and think they are extremely self deluded. About two years ago, I applied for membership thinking it would be fun to be the resident skeptic. As usual with these cretins, I was turned down because my "negative thoughts and energies" would disturb the restless spirits. It's appalling what people like this can get away with.

We are not sure yet why cemeteries have high concentrations of spirit activity but we are working along with other researchers to find an answer.
:D :D :D
Regarding the two "types" of spirits)
The other type of spirit you may encounter were never human and are generally bad news. You must be aware of this type but not obsessed with them, the chances that you will encounter them in a regular ghost hunt are slim. I have experienced both types and I just want to make you aware of their existence. So be aware and protect yourself and you should have no problem.
"Protect" yourself...?
Make sure you bring you ID. (drivers license, etc.) so if you are questioned by the police you can prove who you are.
...like it will matter...
The "ghost hunting procedures" are fun, too...
Many experienced groups believe that there are evil spirits in many areas such as cemeteries and by saying a 10 second prayer you can safely go about your business without worrying about them. An experienced demonologist will tell you that by doing this in the name of God or whatever good deity you worship, you will keep any non human spirits at bay since they have to leave you alone when told so in this manner.
Wait a second...if you pray "in the name of God or whatever good deity you worship", the bad spirits will have to leave you alone? Does this work for good deities invented on the spur of the moment? How about Classical gods? Or good musical deities you may worship, like Clapton? "I command you to leave me alone, in the name of Hendrix..."
Walk around the area to get a feel for the surroundings and allow the spirits to get a feel for you. Do this for about 20 minutes.
It's too bad they don't load the tape recorders until after this procedure. I'd have fun watching somebody wandering aimlessly around a cemetery (or whatever) for 20 minutes. That hint about bringing an ID in case of police is starting to make sense...
When you are done have everyone meet in one spot and ask the human spirits here not to follow you home and to remain here. Tell the others they must remain here in the name of God (or other good deities). Again this takes 4 seconds, it's simple and it can save you some problems down the road.
These inconsiderate, selfish bastards. If the spirits will obey when you tell them to stay, why not tell them, in the name of Jimmy Page, to go to heaven (take the Stairway!), or move to the house down the street and stop bothering the poor guy who owns this house? I mean, the guy called the ghost hunters for a reason.
Schools and former sites of schools may have the build up of psychic energies and imprints of all the highly emotional events that have transpired there.
Yes, my tragic and cataclysmic breakup with Suzie left an impression on the entire school...no, not the students, the school...
Hotels/Motels/Boarding houses - Many dark dealing and highly emotional events take places in these rooms.
Well I have to admit, they're right about this one... ;)

Not only that but where does he get off with the double standard!
I see we can come into their homes anytime we like, take pictures, traipse around and generally wreck-up the place, but they can't follow us home?!?!?
When will these people stop treating the living dead as second class citizens?
