Pat Robertson: God tells me it's Bush in a blowout

NORFOLK, Va. -- Pat Robertson said Friday that God told him President Bush will be re-elected in a landslide.
...
``The Lord has just blessed him,'' Robertson said of Bush. ``I mean, he could make terrible mistakes and comes out of it. It doesn't make any difference what he does, good or bad, God picks him up because he's a man of prayer and God's blessing him.''
...
Earlier on the program, Robertson had explained that he wanted to share ``some of the things that I believe the Lord was showing me as I spent several days in prayer at the end of 2003.''
...
``God loves China and he loves the Chinese people,'' Robertson said. ``I believe there's going to be an unbelievable spiritual revival taking place in China this year.''

So in other words, Bush could be the biggest screw up in the world and God would ensure that he remains president simply because he is religious?
Robertson wants people to think this is a good thing?

I guess God supports the doing of "bad" according to Prophet Pat.

If Bush loses, this either proves there is no god, or at least that god lies to Pat Robertson.

Reason enough to work hard to re-elect a Democrat in 2004.

Pat Robertson: Putting the 'mental' in fundamental since 1930.

This is the same idiot that spoke of 'blowing up the State Dept. with nukes.'
Pat Robertson's 'nuke' idea draws protest (http://edition.cnn.com/2003/US/10/09/robertson.state/http://edition.cnn.com/2003/US/10/09/robertson.state/)
Snippet:
"Maybe we need a very small nuke thrown off on Foggy Bottom to shake things up like Newt Gingrich wants to do," he said.

The guy's a lunatic.... as dangerous as any Taliban member.

If you're trying to discredit him amongst the undecided, (not that there are many of that sort here) this kind of hyperbole won't help.

Well, it seems obvious. God & Jesus hate Arabs, Jews, atheists, women, blacks, liberals, anyone worth under five-hundred million dollars, educators, artists, musicians, actors, non-captive animals, undeveloped land, and anyone else Bush has decided to ***** on in the last 3 years.

Hey Evolver!
You may want to add anyone who works for the US State Department onto the list.
Remember when Bozo Robertson wanted to nuke the State Department a few months back?

Crossbow,
I somehow missed that one when it hit the news. But yeah, God & Jesus must hate them, too.

I think rickzilla's "rolling eyes" smiley was intended at Pat Robertson, not at you.

NORFOLK, Va. -- Pat Robertson said Friday that God told him President Bush will be re-elected in a landslide.
I also think Bush will win big. That's based on my estimate of the probabilities, which may be wrong.
Saying God told him is gambling. Shame on Robertson, again!
Wotta schmuck, again!

So did God lie to Robertson or did Robertson make it up? No landslide victory...

Aw, man! I read this thread thinking that Pat had finally lost it (even more so) and forgotten that there's a two-term maximum and was prophesying Bush would win in 2008.
