Which ethnic group are you claiming they are targeting?

I think comparing a silly confrontation with Al Gore with a pogrom, or implying that it is in anyway way similar to a pogrom, is incredibly insensitive to people who may have been through a pogrom.

Are you implying that this confrontation is similar to the sort of intimidation and injury people have been subjected to in pogroms? If not, I think you should choose your language more wisely.

As far targeting an ethnic group, these idiots do think that anyone in power is a part of one large inbred tribe known as the Illuminati bent on taking over the world. Sometimes they go further and claim that these people also have unique genetics (Reptilian CT). You'll also notice that I didn't call this a pogrom or compared it to one. But I did suggest this could easily be a precursor to a pogrom. How do I know? First of all, my grandmother lived through a pogrom during the Doctors' Plot. Her grandfather also lived through one. To this day, my grandmother hides all kitchen knives as she's afraid that a pogromschik will make use of it. When she heard various groups yelling at the anti-Israel protests, she was reminded of pogroms and none of them even went as far running up to our car. Secondly, you can find such gatherings and riots as being precursors in many pogroms, such as the famous Kishinev pogrom and the one following it in Gomel. I think I'm perfectly within reasonable bounds here.

I know most of the members of WAC- Chicago. The ones that I can talk with don't talk about a NWO. I doubt Saad Ali - he's the one who actually 'confronted' Al Gore - believes there's a new NWO the way it's talked about here. A while back, I posted a bizarre statement he'd made about the US and Blackwater in Pakistan. He wasn't going on about secret societies and conspiracies there.

First off, these are young kids. Saad is 21 and still in college. Despite this, he's older than many of the other members, some of whom are still in high school. He's actually quite an inspiring guy in that wierd messed up sense that these guys want.

Saad says he's from Pakistani origins and the WAC Charter states that they do not discriminate on the basis of race or religion. Talking with WAC members makes it difficult to distinguish them from between leftist radicals. They have completely absorbed the discourse of the Left.

Of course if you want to discard them completely as loonies that's fine and I wouldn't argue much about that. But there's more to them than just laughing at them. Saad's attraction and the message of WAC says something about what young Americans are today. There's a message they're trying to communicate in a really messed up kind of way.
