The word is 'perfidy', as in Perfidious Albion.

A telling quote from the speech:
Israel is not unique" in not having received an official royal visit, because [quote] ‘Many countries have not had an official visit.’ That might be true for Burkino Faso and Chad, but the FO has somehow managed to find the time over the years to send the Queen on State visits to Libya, Iran, Sudan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Jordan & Turkey. So it can’t have been that she wasn’t in the area.

looks a lot like the "wall -o-text" rants that "Skeptic" likes to post..
It ends with the following...
"That in her hopes of averting the threat of a Second Holocaust, only Israel can be relied upon to act decisively in the best interests of the Jews."
so thats about it folks....Israel must be supported in whatever it does otherwise its going to lead to a second holocaust?
personally I'd be a little more grateful to the nation that essentially initiated the foundation of Israel...but hey... ungrateful ********* have a right to whine I suppose.

Why do you think this?
Because it's true? The facts in the speech, I mean.

I was thinking about that. I'm educated, I just can't spell...

That's not what it says, is it?
The difference between what he says and what you say is like the difference between someone who says, "unfortunately, in this town mugging victims can only rely on themselves for protection, the police is worthless", and a police spokesman who angrily replies, "oh sure, so we should just let mugging victims do anything they want, shouldn't we??!!"

It's true that the foreign office looks after british interests? Well yes that is it's job.
It's description of british activities in 1948 is highly questionable. For example the british operations in Jafa were not aimed at protecting "Arab positions" but the civilian population due to not wanting a repeat of the Haifa situation.
In the same month british troops intervened to protect Beit Alfa from an arab attack and carried out various operations to try and reduce the most serious outbreaks of violence.

sorry but you are always whining about the second holocaust....have you decided that its not going to happen now?
Normally you are flapping about how Israel must be allowed to do what it wants in order to avoid a 2nd holocaust...or butchered to the last baby...you like that term...or driven into the sea or whatever fate you think some irregular ragtag arabs with 2nd hand rifles are going to do to the IDF if Israel is not given a free hand in what it wants to do with all the stateless people it controls
Edited for rule 12.

excellent speech here (http://www.spectator.co.uk/melaniephillips/5620681/an-inconvenient-truth.thtml). Seriously, why do you care? Today, the UK is one of its strongest allies. Against the urgings of some of his Cabinet, Blair didn't once condemn Israel for its war on Lebanon in 2006. Amazingly.
