My woo woo moment

I have insomnia again. So, was up late listening to Coast to Coast.

They had a numerologist on. She was talking about how the street or apartment number where you live can influence your future.

She started giving the meanings. I found myself doing the addition (add up the digits until you have only one digit). Mine is a 2. She said 2 means love will come to you.

Given my recent breakup, this made me feel good. Even though I don't believe this stuff!

We take our comfort where it comes.

And when you found a new love that belief would be reinforced by "personal experience" - I know its true because it happened to me. (not ME! )
It all feels so "natural" and its very nice to feel special. the lure of the dark side is strong!

Sorry, I don't know what the other numbers mean. We could just make something up. It would be equally valid. What do you want your number to mean?

It's about hope. People will pay money to have hope. I can't sleep because of a breakup and feeling sorry for myself. The radio says "love is on the way" I feel hopeful. Maybe love is on the way!

And, as Jon said, if it arrives, I'll say "just as the numerology said" and I'll figure out what my new love's numbers mean for the fate of our relationship.

It's nice to remove the uncertainty. It is an easy trap to fall into.

I was in a convenience store yesterday after work. The woman in front of me bought some items and her total came to $4.67. I bought some stuff (totally different things), and my total came to $4.67.

The lady cashier remarked, after the woman left, that that person might be my soul-mate. :)
