View Full Version : "Tactics" Used to Discredit the 9/11 Truth Movement?

According to David C at the LCF in the "Lounge" section he's pointing out that the Government is using "tactics" to discredit the Truth Movement & the Truthers.
Some of you should read the hilarity of the thread over there. There's talk of "people infiltrating it (the TM)", "Government Agents", "They (Government) probably then pay people to appear at demonstrations and use these tactics" & of course we can't forget this "evidence that Apollo was a hoax".

If, ever, a truther says anything smart for their movement, it's to be considered as a raise to their credibility and when they say something stupid it's merely "tactics", which should be interpreted that there already is something credible to use "tactics" against. That way, regardless of what happens: 9/11 was an inside jobby job. The thing is, there seems to be a great demand for t-shirts advertising non-falsifiable positions.
Truthers, why are you labeling these events as attempts to discredit you when you at the same time cite them to the credit of your stupid beliefs? Doesn't matter, go yell nonsense outside of Silverstein's building.

Welcome Bob,
In the end it isn't a balanced field, the whole official story has to be true for it to be "not an inside job", wacky conspiracy theories can be total ******** but it is still an inside job.
Try this viewpoint. For 9/11 not to be an inside job, the story of Lloyd England the Pentagon cab driver has to be 100% accurate despite nobody else corroborating it and multiple witnesses saying that it cannot have happened.
A new, really, really far away goalpost is set. :jaw-dropp

Yes, because an old man not being confused about exactly what happened when he was almost killed in an unexpected and chaotic event is absolutely essential to believing that terrorists hijacked some planes....:boggled:

The "official story" can't be true because some people say things that contradict things said by OTHER people (or even by themselves in other parts of their testimonies). The "alternate theory" must be true even though it is jack-full of contradictions and impossibilities.

Lloyd England the Pentagon cab driver
He's just a cab driver Truthers! He's not part of any Government Agency or any kind of mythical agency which you Truthers try to cook up. There's pictures of him standing with his cab & a busted windshield from the light pole. He told news reporters that he saw Flight 77. End of the story!
BTW: He's not an "accomplice" to anything, Truthers! The only "crime" he's probably guilty of is being a Taxi Cab driver for Capitol Cab Company.

Jason Bermas is a typical "shout it out before you think" sort of Truther. That boy never thinks, not even in his life did he think for himself.
Opening their mouths @ Ground Zero is a "tactic" to cause people to get into fights with them. All they care about is fighting people, which is kind of pathetic since they can't handle the truth that they're idiots.

The Government is doing a pretty good job. The structural design classes I took back in '93 were sufficient to tell me the twoofers are full of bovine patties, and that's 8 years before the attacks! Just think... if twoofers had ever bothered to take engineering courses, they too might have been caught in the grand deception.

Of course!!! that's it!!!
The entire 'story' of flight 77 hitting the Pentagon hinges on the fact that Lloyd England recall, exactly, the details of the event that saw a light pole crash through the window of his cab and that it can be proven through forensics that this light pole actually was hit by a large aircraft thus breaking it and having it enter that cab.

LOL @ the word "stalker"! How idiotic do Truthers have to be to consider that people can look at other forums & read anything that anyone else types on them & then have the gull to call them "stalkers"?
According to those @ LCF & Prison Planet Forum they consider people who are just reading their material is "stalking". If that were the case then how come alot of us aren't in jail? Can the Truthers answer that question??

And yes, IMO once you have been IP banned from a forum and you find alternate means of viewing said forum you are indeed classified a cyberstalker
Well, well, well! Looks like I've got me a cyberstalker myself! Since some Truther does have my IP Address (which I've already changed), that's a classification of a cyberstalker to begin with.
So how is it that I'm a "cyberstalker" without having a Truthers IP Address to stalk them? Think about it a while troll!
Attempts to gather information about the victim. Cyberstalkers may approach their victim's friends, family and work colleagues to obtain personal information. They may advertise for information on the Internet, or hire a private detective. They often will monitor the victim's online activities and attempt to trace their IP address in an effort to gather more information about their victims.

You come to a skeptics sub-forum concerning the events of 9/11 and start threads stating that 9/11 truthers believe that the events of 9/11 was an inside job by the government.
That is the exact same thing as going to the paranormal section of the same skeptics forum and starting threads about how you do not see ghost or do not read peoples thoughts or that you do not talk to the dead.
The total redundancy of such threads make them completely pointless.
If that wasn't bad enough, inside the pointless threads you create you post on going battles with people on other forums.
I'm not sure what you hope to gain by this. Are you trying to get others involved in your forum wars?
In my opinion there simply is no need to discuss how 9/11 was not an inside job with others who also know this to be false.
Those others by the way include just about everybody on the planet except a handful of internet nut jobs.
So until those nut jobs come to us asking questions there is really nothing left to talk about.
Going to the nut jobs forum and getting all upset at what you read there does not make any sense.

This isn't your forum, in fact it's not anyones forum but James Randi's. You're here just like everyone else, & if you've read the MA correctly it states:
The JREF wishes the Forum to be a friendly and lively (if challenging) Forum for a mature audience and therefore will endeavor to ensure that civility will be the norm, however this does not mean that Members will be insulated from all insults and certainly not from challenges; the nature of the forum inevitably involves strong emotions and opinions which can result in heated exchanges. Having your views challenged is not considered unfriendly nor uncivil.
Your view is challenged by your attitude, which isn't very friendly at all. I'm challenging you to change your attitude towards other members on this forum. All you've done is broken Rule 12 by attacking the arguers! Now if you've claimed that I've broken any rules, you might want to rethink that about yourself which ones you've broken. I've got no quarrels with you Brattus, why do you have quarrels with other people? Just because you've had a bad day shouldn't be reflected on a forum or towards other members.

Now if you've claimed that I've broken any rules, you might want to rethink that about yourself which ones you've broken.
And respond to it in a month when Chewy comes off suspension. :covereyes

According to David C at the LCF in the "Lounge" section he's pointing out that the Government is using "tactics" to discredit the Truth Movement & the Truthers. :dl:
The only "tactics" needed to discredit the Truth Movement is a good education and an ability to apply critical thinking skills and a apply a logical approach to analyze the events.

You can quote a person, but how exactly do you quote a movement?

I'm gonna just respond to Brattus just once!
This isn't your forum, in fact it's not anyones forum but James Randi's. You're here just like everyone else, & if you've read the MA correctly it states:
Your view is challenged by your attitude, which isn't very friendly at all. I'm challenging you to change your attitude towards other members on this forum. All you've done is broken Rule 12 by attacking the arguers! Now if you've claimed that I've broken any rules, you might want to rethink that about yourself which ones you've broken. I've got no quarrels with you Brattus, why do you have quarrels with other people? Just because you've had a bad day shouldn't be reflected on a forum or towards other members.
How can you respond to a post you didn't even read?
Anyways I tried.
I guess you will go on ignore. You'll be my first there.
Have a good month off.

One of my all time favorite quotes.
Still more evidence that Washington had its own defenses, rather than being dependant on the fighter jets at distant Langley is provided by the description of the "principal missions" of Davison Army Airfield:
Thanks Dave!

i think i have to agree with the truthers on this one. it is quite an insidious ploy the govt hatched. i mean over 200 years ago they concocted the first amendment which is definitely the greatest tactic that discredits truthers.

:D:D:D
Of course!!! that's it!!!
The entire 'story' of flight 77 hitting the Pentagon hinges on the fact that Lloyd England recall, exactly, the details of the event that saw a light pole crash through the window of his cab and that it can be proven through forensics that this light pole actually was hit by a large aircraft thus breaking it and having it enter that cab.
Occam does another 360 in his grave.
Give twoofers a few more years. Then we can put a magnet in him, and turn him into a generator, solving our energy problem.

The title of this thread made me think "Justin Wilson"
He was a Cajun comedian--one of his routines involved trying to dissuade a dude from contributing to Mississippi State, because there, the boys and girls shared the same curriculum, and the male professors looked at the girls' thesis...

Well, Well, Well. What do we have here? Yet another thread with no meaning or purpose whatsoever.
Yes Chewy we already know that truthers believe 9/11 was an inside job.
We've all known that for quite awhile now.
You keep posting about how funny it is but I can't see the humor in it at all.
You start these meaningless threads as a place to post your ongoing battles with posters on another forum.
You know that is against this forums rules.
Why do you keep reading these threads if they bother you?

It doesn't really matter what "tactics" have been used. They're obviously not working if you're all still here. 9/11 conspiracy is fascinating ain't it?

I can name several tactics used to discredit the truth movement;
1. Loose Change
2. Prison Planet
3. J.O.N.E.S.
All so bad for the image of the "movement" that it would take a NWO secret op to establish all of them so successfully...

No one has to do anything to discredit 911 truth. 911 truth never said anything backed up with evidence. 911 truth is self discrediting. We are all here, but we are not here, we are at home, at work, in a hotel on vacation, baby sitting grandkids, doing homework, watching TV, developing new computers, building and designing speakers, checking software, debugging programs, reading about nut case conspiracy ideas, and posting ideas on the dumbest movement in history, or at least trying to be the dumbest; 911 truth.
One proof 911 truth needs no discrediting is lack of a Pulitzer Prize for what would be the biggest story since Watergate. 911 truth is the perfect 100 percent evidence free story of perpetual failure.

Some of you should read the hilarity of the thread over there. There's talk of "people infiltrating it (the TM)", "Government Agents", "They (Government) probably then pay people to appear at demonstrations and use these tactics" & of course we can't forget this "evidence that Apollo was a hoax".
:dl:
read you on another forum where,it has to be said, you get your tatties every time you take on a truther. So it's back to the crap magian's place where you can have your belly stroked by the cats round here. Why the need for approval?

Oh wait, we scold him repeatedly and he's currently suspended. Good point.

Let's look at this way. This is a 'movement' that claims hundreds of 'scholars', hundreds of architects and engineers, yet their newest poster boy is a 25-year-old mechanical engineer inpired by Jesus to speak the TRUTH about 911. His 3 years engineering experience includes some welding. And this is who there is today.
911 Truth has been beat. I know almost all of the active people now and there's really only a few dozen nation-wide. Most of them are still in high school. I'm sure there are others who side more with Alex Jones than us here, but they can't even be bothered to attend a demonstration against a government they claim kills citizens by the trainload.
Really, the purpose of this forum has been done. There's nothing else left to be said on this. The Truth Movement and all its Truthers have been so discredited that no one listens to them - not even people who lean toward believing this stuff.
Yes, yes, I know the US is just about to burst open in revolution against the tyranny. And while protestors in Iran get run over and shot by the police, We Are Change doesn't even have a word. The voice against tyranny in America doesn't seem to care much when it's brown people getting killed for real. And the 25-year-old mechanical engineer is now the voice we're all waiting with baited breath to hear.
