Hello.!
Long time lurker he at JREF love what you guys do.
I decided to join to get involved and ask questions every now and then..

I have a question,
Does anybody have any information on Gerald Celente?
Is there such a term as a Trend Examiner? I have researched it somewhat but there always seems to be different points of views. I am looking for any info on him. I personally find it hard to believe to take him seriously. He is always talking about doom and gloom. Some give him validity and other do not. Whats the scoop?

Celente boasts that he has predicted every major market swing (the dot-com bubble, the burst of the dot-com bubble, the commodity surge and the sub-prime crisis and US investment bank troubles) for the last 10+ years. If that were true, he should be high up on the Forbes rich list. He's not; what does that tell you about his predictive powers?

"what does that tell you about his predictive powers?"

Not much..lol
Thank you for your response.!
I noticed you posted in the link that was provided above from Francesca R.
That link gave me lots of answers, Thank you.
I was asking because I was debating with a friend of mine who keeps telling me that I should listen to what he says, I responded by saying not until I can validate his credibility.
To note, my friend listened to him on Gary Null. I pretty sure everyone knows him. Thats why I questioned it.
Again..Thank you.
