Killington Vermont wants to join New Hampshire, except for the rich people who think it's cool to have a Vermont address.
It should be noted that even if a corporation donates computers or money to their local school, that money is decucted from money they would have had from the state. It creates fairness, and certainly a lot of business for the private school. I have read that it has really helped the struggling schools in Vermont, so I'm not against it. The only town exempt from this rule is Vernon Vermont home of Vermont Yankee Nuke Plant. They have GREAT schools, as the plant donates much to the school every year. Also low property taxes. They even have a voucher program if your kid wants to attend privte middle and high school.
