OK, true recent story. So last night I am baking cookies to bring to TAM pajama party with my ever patient friend- ginger cookies that get better in about 5 days- and he brings out a grill pan instead of a cookie sheet. I said- why don't you use a cookie sheet- he says oh, I bake everything in the grill pan now, it works much better. Get 1. Brat. Later, I say- are we greasing the cookie sheet? He says no, just sprinkle a little salt on the pan. Salt?? These are sweet cookies!! Do you mean sugar, perhaps??? He says salt gives them extra spicy flavor. Get 2. And so on through the night..... All with a straight face. And I know he lies to me all the time. So later I ask him what a lance is (as in lance corporal) and he says it is an old medieval type spear cavalry used- and I accuse him of being a rotten liar trying to hoax me...:o Now I expect this kind of vile behavior from my close friends and relatives. But skeptics? Jrefers? Tsk tsk....:p

Not entirely -- the message was USA's brainchild. I read it and went "Yikes! That sounds TOO believable." But I had to lket it stand for a -little- while.

The original thought (just an idea that got thrown out) was to have everyone in the paltalk room all post that we had a huge fight after you left and we were ALL not coming, possibly with a round of name calling.

I am trying to type this having a smile of my face. When I was at school and I learned about the Romans who went to the battle singing I felt an admiration about them. Although I guess that in my occassion the appropriate story is the one of the Christian Martyrs that were thrown to the Lions....

I cannot make it. My business associate is sick maybe from overwork and I have to stay back at the office. We tried really hard to work things out since I had everything set ( registration, air-tickets, bla bla bla) but it's not right for me to leave. Back in October when I had a serious accident, George covered me for over a month and I suspect that this might have played a role in this condition.

So, I will stay back to make some company to those who won't make it either.

I have a list of " To do" that I have PM to some people. I am particularly interested in kisses that must be delievered on my behalf.

Somebody must kiss Renata, Luciana, Moe Faux, Kitty,Girl 6, Chanileslie and Linda for me, I know that it will be difficult to persuade the guys but please try to make this sacrifice for me :D

Also, I want my official sock-puppet to wear my TAM badge. :)

Here is the deal. I have my registration fee that I have already paid and of course I am giving it to anybody who needs it. I am waiting Kitty to answer to that. Also, I have my air tickets from NY to Las Vegas but I don't know what I can do with those, my ex brother in law bought them for me and they are waiting for me in NY. I don't know if we can do anything with those but we can give it a try :)

As for the airline ticket, I think you *might* be able to see if they can exchange it for some other flight that you may want to take later on in the year. Try that, so that at least you can recoup the cost towards some other trip.
