I am constantly amazed that basically no one in the group of persons who do not believe the commonly accepted history of events of Sept. 11/01 even considers the so-called LIHOP senario in which Islamic militants do plan the attacks exactly as in that history but that their plans were known and simply allowed to occur.

It requires no manipulation of the laws of physics, no magical weaponry, it does not require that masses of people be tricked into seeing, or thinking they saw, something that did not occur.

Why is it then that the conspiracy theorists seem to require that the event be an insanely large Rube-Goldberg machination?

Regardless, I tell people, these buildings fell in 10 seconds, they’re 110 stories. Now let’s just use our mouth to demonstrate this. If a pancake collapse can be described as “clunkity clunk” How many times can you say that in 10 seconds? And if one floor is “clunkity clunk clunkity clunk” you cannot say that 110 times in 10 seconds. So let’s even give it the benefit of the doubt, let’s just take off the “clunk”. In the 1970's I and my physics and engineering friends laughed our collective butts of at a letter to the editor in which the author railed against the 'unnatural' metric system.
