This is one of the largest sci-fi/fact/fantasy conventions on the East Coast. Not nearly as large as, say, Dragon*Con, but there will be plenty of science-related panels and such.
Despite any previous reports you might have heard, they are moving back to their original location: the SUNY Stony Brook campus, somewhere on Long Island, in the state of New York.
And, it's taking place from March 26 to 28, 2010.
Anyone else on this Forum going, aside from me?! (and, most likely, Kochanski?)

I think I'll go. For others in New England I recommend the Bridgeport & Port Jefferson ferry rather than driving through NYC.

Of course you won't! Your attendance would violate many of your restraining orders.
Some of the attendees still remember when you "played Comedian":

I will be there, working as always. I think there are a couple other forum people coming, but they need to speak for themselves. The I-Con schedule is online at the I-Con site.
And the ferry to Port Jeff is an excellent way to get there from New England, short drive from Port Jeff to Stony Brook campus.

I'll second Kochanski's recommendation. I've taken the ferry every time I've gone to ICON. It saves some driving time, and you get a break from driving.

Here's a photo op, that I managed to grab, after ambushing Michio Kaku at the hotel.

I'd be impressed if he was a real physicist.

I'd be impressed if he was a real physicist. You may mock him, now. But, you'll think differently when his lightsaber is completed!

Lightsabers and theoretical physics? "Wormhole backstab" immediately comes to mind.
