Today I was treated to the horror of yet another white politician slapping and swaying to pander to black voters.
The last time I saw this horror it was the awkward former governer of California fighting off a recall effort. His performance of dancing and clapping in front of minority voters (alongside Al Gore who also was participating as if it were part of his daily routine) made me laugh so hard I nearly snarfled my tea.
This time it was democrat front runner Howard Dean in a black church swaying to and fro and clapping like he isn't a stiff white guy in a place he would never be if it weren't an election year.
Would someone tell these guys to stop this mess? Sure its funny, but the its extremely pathetic too.
Kerry/Lieberman, don't go there guys. The idea that by clapping and pseudo-dancing in front of minority voters gets their votes is an insult to all of us.
