...Reynolds last month sent out a postcard of Jesus in the manger, but he substituted pictures of himself, his wife and their five children for key figures at the Nativity scene.

The first thing I notice is that he did not put himself in the role of a Wiseman, instead he plays Joseph, who if I recall correctly, didn't really do anything useful in this story. So, he's a state senator, huh?

This isn't that unusual. When I was a baby, my mother made a giant "christmas card" painting to go outside the local church and I was the model for Jesus. They still put it up every Christmas, and it's even been "restored" once with added glitter and shinier paint. Oh, the irony...
