There a ton of podcasts out there, but what do YOU like in a podcast. Even the smallest thing is important. Do you like a mix of male and female? Do you like humor or serious or a mix? Do you like people just chatting, guests or a specific topic? Do you like current events or indepth history?

Also what is missing from podcasts that you would like to hear?

I have a friend wanting to start up a podcast, but isn't sure what angle to take.

I thought, "why not ask people?"

For the love of Mr Skinny, no more "interviewing prominent skeptics". I like what some of the podcasts are doing of late, interviewing grassroots people. That and the roundtable discussion format on a particular subject for the episode.

I like having an opposing point of view presented by someone who believes in whatever. Especially if it's wacky.
