FYI. I figure these URLs might be interesting for the inveterate researchers that populate this forum.

http://www.GovernmentAttic.org

An extravaganza of hundreds of documents and databases from government
agencies, apparently donated by journalists for journalists. There are tons
of story leads and resources here for reporters. Click on the link marked
DOCUMENTS at the top of the home page. Also dozens of FOIA Case Logs under that link. There is a search box and it works but is not as useful as
looking down the Document list.

Two recent additions to the Documents page are:

Military Records of VIPs List
http://www.governmentattic.org/2docs/NPRC_VIP_List_2009.pdf

FBI Dead List - a listing of people that the FBI acknowledges is dead and in
many cases for which the FBI holds files

==

http://www.GetGrandpasFBIfile.com

This self-descriptive website show how to get records from the FBI and other
agencies - automatically generates request letters for any dead person. Get
the FBI for any deceased newsworthy figure. I'm told it doesn't take as
long as long these days to get the results.

http://www.GetMyFBIfile.com

This sister site helps you get any files that may exist on yourself from the
FBI and a variety of other agencies. Generates request letters at your
direction.

http://AirForceHistoryIndex.org

An index to 550,000 Air Force Historical Records entirely searchable by
keyword. Find out interesting stuff about your local military base or
community, for example.

:bump2

Ok. These links are worth having. I'm going to save them to my "9/11" bookmarks.

Thanks for the URLs, man! :thanks
