That was the phrase above the ticker on Fox just now.

So we have a few options. Treat the question literally and actually explore the weighty matter of taxpayer outrage and what makes things more outrage-worthy, or we could discuss things like the degraded state of cable news and approaching armageddon.

Thoughts?

Lies by Republicans probably enrage me the most. Beyond that deep thought, Fox News is just being its typical cesspool. Who watches that channel!? Honestly!

But, apparently, it's all the taxpayers' fault (http://www.slate.com/id/2243797/?from=rss), and they get the dumb politicians they demand . . .

I am in favor of government spending even if I disagree with the particulars, and I also think that government dishonesty is an obstacle to a free nation... so this taxpayer would say government lies are more outrageous.

Well, government spending doesn't really enrage me. It's like a cat, shedding, or puking up furballs. Annoying, yes, but it's a cat. What did you expect?

As for government lies, I'm pretty sure the government has never actually lied about anything, so there's really no reason for rage there.

When government lies about government spending.
Except, of course, that like I said, the government never lies.

If only I could ever feel that I could afford to spend my own money as freely, as frivolously, as irresponsibly, and as free of any restraint; as government feels entitled to take it from me and spend it…
