I am wondering how much money the average biz site makes from it ads. For instance, this site makes something from theirs. What's the scoop on website ads?

Also, I know that it seems to come down to site traffic. On the low end, esoteric or niche site, what would be the average revenue for an ad and on the high end with a site that gets lots of traffic, what is the average revenue. Can you make a lot of money for the ad revenue if you have high traffic and do you get paid per link clicks?
