Looks like Teleprompter-Boy intends to televise scripted comments read from his teleprompters for blatant political points...

But he still won't allow C-Span coverage of the Health Reform Bill. Apparently he doesn't want the light to shine on such gems as this:

"Pfizer also aggressively shifted political giving. According to OpenSecrets.org, in the 2006 campaign cycle it gave 33% of its money to Democrats. In the 2008 cycle, 52%. In the 2010 cycle so far, 61%. (The company says it has budgeted 55% for Democrats and the 61% is a misleading snapshot.) In 2009 Pfizer became the fourth largest federal lobbyist, spending nearly $25 million. The year before it hadn't even made the top 20. With these gestures, Mr. Kindler surely believed Democrats would treat his industry gently. The strategy: The industry would pledge $80 billion to reform. In return it would get greater volume and a requirement that people buy brand-name drugs. Democrats would also fight against drug reimportation and forgo price controls."
Hey, did anybody know the Democrats were killing off generic drug prescriptions? Nobody I've talked to did, including my Congressional Representative. Looks like some bribery and corruption works wonders in rigging the laws for corporations against the people... as long as the riggers and corruptees are Democrats.
Throw 'em out! Vote Republican in 2010!
