This is news to you Parky?
She was first discovered by the Zionist gang at the Weekly Standard on one of their cruises to Alaska.

I used to think something like - "a little stupid is good for us! Put those stupid people in office and we'll soon tire of it and become more involved and knowledgeable. Stupid is good for America!" Yep. That's my motto. So... we get 8 friggin years of GW Bush. And do we wise up? No, we only wake up enough to blame it all on the Democrats and find someone, as if it were possible... even MORE annoyingly ignorant in Sarah Palin. Imagine! with a little more work and effort we can have a REAL YEC Dominionist who believes that however much we pound the Mideast with nuclear weapons, Jeesus will come to rescue the faithful.
Those left alive.
All ten.
Israel surprises me sometimes, they seem so smart about things but don't seem to understand that Christians support them because they think that Israel will be ground zero for Armageddon - the end of the world as we know it. Those of us who support Israel will be blessed when the evil are destroyed there, and God will descend to collect all the Jews who convert to Christianity just before they are wiped off the face of the earth. Sorry, paraphrasing the Bible there...

They love Sarah Palin because it is really "in" nowadays to hate Israel, and support, instead, the likes of Hamas, PLO, etc.; since it is "in" to "hold Israel to a higher standard" -- that is, to wag a finger at the Jews when the dare defend themselves instead of lying down and dying quietly for the sin of living where the Arabs don't want them to.
Palin doesn't, perhaps because, like Israel, she knows quite well from personal experience what it is to be hated with foaming-at-the-mouth irrationality and anger by the "tolerant" camp, whose concern for "fairness" and "open mindedness" is seen for the thin veneer it is the moment she, or Israel, or any of the other BAD GUYS(tm) is mentioned in discussion.
Since Palin loves Israel, the Israelies love her back. Why not? So that those who hate Israel anyway won't have another invented "reason" to hate the "right-wing zionists" (that is, Israel)? Who cares?

lets put this to a test... This is how the article from the op described palins speech to the Tea party people.
Palin electrified her audience in Nashville by credibly channeling the populist impulses of American voters. In her signature line she asked, “So how’s that hopey changey stuff working out for ya?”
so lets test this....... "skeptic" did you find her speech "electrifying"? do you think that "So hows that hopey changey stuff working out for ya?" is incredibly channeling. As a "signature line" do you think its up there with other famous Political signature lines?
like this one from Otto Von Bismarck
"Politics is not an exact science"
Palin seems to rely in this one a bit...do you think her great one liners will be quotes by people on political forums in the future?
I can see it now....
"So hows that hopey changey stuff working out for ya?"

Kopji -- there is something to what you say, but a simpler reason for the Christians' view is that they know very well how their coreligionists fare in the rest of the middle east, where expulsion of Christians by intimidation, discrimination, and pogroms is the norm.

Evangelical End-of-Days Christians, are fair-weather friends of Israel.
its better to have friends who provide tough-love and constructive criticism, than hard-core "friends" who are motivated by extremist religious ideology.

And somehow you think that those nuts who support the end of days scenario, the rupture, etc. are true friends of Israel? These same nuts are trying to enforce the escalation of fighting rather than build bridges between the many religions in this very same region.
Ahmadinejad also views himself as this invoker of the end of days scenario and the coming of the 12th imam via the same methods of destabilization. He truly must be a friend of the region and of Israel as well :D

making friends with right-wing Christian fundamentalists is like making friends with Italian Fascists.
sure, they won't persecute you at first, but when the Nazis come around, don't expect any help.
There is only ONE political group who has not persecuted Jews. And that is liberal-Democracies.
Communists have persecuted us. Fascists have persecuted us. Christians have persecuted us. Muslims have persecuted us.
Only liberal Democracies, such as the USA, Australia, Britain, Canada, modern-day Germany, and the rest of the Western European states, have treated us fairly.
We should remember this.

This is because they are all nations under ZOG.
